suduko..i think that's how it's spelt...is "supposedly" be the "THING" to play. has anyone played it yet? they say it was brought from japan to american + it's in newspapers + magazines...weird how such a game spreads so fast....

i tried it...it was too hard for me :P

[edit] here's a pic of it

the grey numbers are the ones you put in + the sharper numbers are the ones given.

They have them in the newspaper now, and a lot of people seem to be getting really into them. The people who sit behind me in physics do them, as do some of my friends at lunch.

It's been in the paper back home (in DC) for about 6 months but I just got into it back in early August. I haven't done much of it lately because of school. I need to get back into it.

Seriously everyone around me is really addicted to playing it.

Honestly I think it's a good mind game, but it's just getting slightly overrated.

Sudoku puzzles are all about logic; in theory, if you think it about it, you should not make a single mistake. _smile.gif

Fun. Interesting. But I don't think it's anything I would get addicted to...

I play a little sudoku. My sister brough it into the family, her teacher taught her and we all went online and printed some out. It's pretty easy. I was taught a strategy.

Last year, my math teacher made us do them after we took this test, and everyone just shrugged it off.

Who would of known that it would become so popular now?

Actually, Sudoku was first published in an American puzzle magazine in 1979 under the name Number Place. It then spread to Japan, and gained popularity. Now, it's back here with a kind of lame foreign twist. [1]
