Well.. I looked through the forum and didn't see any topics like this one... Some people may not like either.. but that's not what the poll is asking.
I personally like Mercedes a little more than BMW. I think they look nicer and ride nicer. I think the quality of some models is definately better than others, though. My family's had a '00 CLK 430 and we now have a '05 E350 (4matic), and no question, the E-class rides and drives better, and it's a V6. So... which do you think is better? |

personally my family has had a s500 a while back it wasnt that great and it was like a lemon so we never trust pos benz again, lexus is great though we have a ls400 and its the greatest car, we recently got a lexus sc and no doubt about it lexuss quality is way superior to benz. we might get a bmw sometime soon so until then i dont have anything to say about bmw

i think bmws look better than mercedes. the only thing i like from mercedes is the slr mclaren.
haha i'm not sure which ones better for quality wise but i'm pretty sure they're going to be equal or close to equal since they are both top luxury cars. don't they both cost a lot for maintenance anyway? m5 is beautiful. |

I've never ridden in either of them but phsical appearence-wise.. BMW! They have this one really cute car. and it's a convertable. And it's so cute. :]

BMW is win. They're engineered to last longer and work harder while being more efficient than a Mercedes.

Depends on the car itself. Normally I prefer the BMW because it's more compact than the Mercedes Benz. Although if we're going to talk about the SLR McLaren then that's a whole different story.

top 3 reason not to buy a mercedes:
- they are owned by chrysler (might as well by a 300c) - all (even the sports/exotics) come in automatic transmission only. no option for manual. why would you want a automatic sports car? - they don't hold their value (see reason number 1) top 3 reasons to buy a bmw: - family owned business. one of the only companies that has not sold out yet. - automatic is an option. the sports cars only come in manual trans (except unfortunatly the '06 M5 in which case there's an option for manumatic / manual trans.) - one of the top cars to hold their value... on the other hand, mercedes' have always looked good since 2000... when bmw came out with the new body style of the 7 series in '01 i was disappointed. at first they looked as if they had downsyndrome, but they are starting to grow on me now... |
