Ok, so I've posted and posted on the blending boards., still no one has answered. Anyone know how to help me? I can't figure out how to paste the two pictures on top of the background without them stacking on top of each other.

Well, I'm sure this will be moved, so I'll go ahead and try and help you.
What I do (I use paint shop pro 8 but this works for pretty much any program), is line up the pictures on separate layers where I basically want them. Then, using the lasso or selection tool, select either the part of the image you DO want or what you DON'T want. Then go to "Feather Selection" or something similar (look for a Selection menu) and feather it. That makes the selection sort of fade off. If you selected what you DO want in the picture, invert your selection. Then, for either way, hit delete, and it will fade into the picture underneath. That's just a real quick how-to... there's other ways to do it but that's the way that's probably the simplest. Hope that helps. If not, google it. |

Okay, make a new document.
Paste the image in. Then paste another picture next to it make sure both are colliding, then create a vector mask. next use the gradient tool and go from left to right or right to left. Voila, if you'd like to blend more images do the 3rd step and 4th step over. |
