a dream, a wish, a hope
i dreamed that you were with me and i took your hand in my own i felt it in mine, till i looked and found that it wasn't there at all i dreamed that i looked in your eyes and back you looked at mine and without words we'd be there and the rest of the world would stop i dreamed that i would find you and together we'd understand and all the troubles of this life wouldn't seem quite so bad. i dreamed. i wish i could have you to hold in my arms to look in your eyes and know you felt the same. i wish i could hold you without a word and together we'd understand you'd conquer my thoughts and erase my worries just by being mine and to let me be yours i wish you would tell me your troubles and i could say it's okay and i'd put my arms around you and wish all your troubles away i wish. i hope that i will hold you and everything will be alright nothing in the world would ever come between us i hope that you feel the same way that i do but untill i look into your eyes i will never know for sure i hope that we were meant for together and eternity i hope that we will be. always in each other's hearts i hope. a dream, a wish, a hope © 2005 to me |
