i think its a aim virus today someone sent me "is this you" and a link to a myspace picture. when i click it it spread it to everyone on my buddylist. i keeps repeating the process like every 3 minutes. i tried restarting my computer, and redownloading aim, but it didnt work. do you know how to get rid of it?

Yeah, a bunch of my friends clicked on it and now I keep getting it...
Try to see if this helps: http://www.aim.com/help_faq/security/trojan.adp eep. try this though: http://www.jayloden.com/AIMFix.exe It's a fix for about the same virus a couple months ago. This post has been edited by ocpimple: Oct 25 2005, 07:33 PM |

Hmm. This virus infects lots of people, including people on my buddy list *bashes*
I don't recall how they got rid of it, but they all did. Try searching google for how to get rid of the "aim virus". It should work by scanning with an antivirus program, though... |
