What do you do when you really like your boyfriend but your scarred to get to get to close (like fall in love) because your scarred of getting hurt.........I think that im starting to fall in love with my boyfriend and i think he feels the same way well thats what my friends say so what should I do?

What do you say dear? Don't go by what your friends say, they dont know how you feel or how he feels. Listen to your heart and soul...not other people...

...in relationships you'll find that other people and outside influences tend to break more than mend.

But what I would do...I would have a nice atmosphere and a relatively quiet one...(perhaps a nice dinner) and just talk about your future being together. You can mention love and your feelings, and just ask questions and talk.

Get a conversation started about your relationship...then

Perhaps ask him light and simple questions like,

"What if I'm afraid to fall in love?"

"What does love mean to you?"

"What does committment mean to you?"

"What would it do to us in the long term?"

Those are just relative questions...you have to dig into his heart and see what / how he feels about that subject. Love is too complicated to be left in the dark...

...and if / should you ever get hurt, you will suffer immensely but it will also make you very strong inside and will answer your questions you have deep down.

depending on your age you should show your imotions and at the same time try not to ruin your relationship.

ok so i've let my heart out to this guy. and i ended up getting hurt...twice. yeah it was really stupid of me. but you know what? if i were to do it all over again, i wouldn't have changed a THING. Because i was brave enough to open up and let him into my world. sure things didn't turn out to be the greatest, but its still something i'll never forget.

well you have to go with the flow, if you feel love and your bf loves you too then you have to risk for it and maybe you will be like mouse_3k.

you will never know until you risk for it and maybe you will find happiness once you break free. just know your limitations in love

Just let him in your heart ;).. if you get hurt, well so be it, but if you really are in love with this guy, you should take the risk. it will hurt even more later on if you decide that you wont let him in just because you were afraid. ;)
