Left side getting cut off |

I"m not sure if this has to do with the particular layout I chose or not but you can see that on the far left side, the border is cut off. And when I go to add something like a quiz or something to the area underneath the about me section, It cuts it of even more, you can't see the first few letters. How can I fix this?
