MORP && asking someone, .. Options

at our school, instead of sadie hawkins dances, we have MORP.. which is PROM backwards. we do everything backwards. the girls ask the guys, the girls pay, the girls do everything. like a guy normally would.

so, i like this guy, and i have for quite a while now. he knows it. we have mutual friends, so we kinda have to be together sometimes, on default.

so this mutual friend we have told me that the guy i like (zac) was jealous trevor (the mutual friend) had a date to MORP and zac didn't. so, trevor said i should ask zac. trevor also said zac was jealous that i talk to my other guy friends more than him. but trevor says zac is too embarrassed to say anything to me... (i have like a million guy friends. haha) i am a VERY VERY VERY embarrassed person, so it took me some guts to do it.

so, i got some 'beeper gum', on one side the label says 'BEEPER GUM' and on the other side it says a random beeper statement. i found one that said MEET ME AT: ______ so, i chose to use that one, and just write MORP? on the line.

i have in in my 2nd hour honors bioligy class, (oh, i asked him yesterday, by the way) and today it was strangely awkward. at lunch jackie (another mutual friend) came out and said "Zac said if he goes, he'll go with you"

(he doesn't usually go to school dances)
i'm afraid he just doesn't want to go with me. he said he thought my beeper gum idea was funny haha.

the point is, i don't understand all of this boy-talk crap. because ..ah, this is just so confusing.. anyone know anything about this!?!?! i'm confused soo much right now.

I hope he goes with you too. That was a neat idea. I'm extremely paranoid in that type of situation, so it's good you took the initiative to ask him. I think that although you're doubtful of his sincerity, he said yes, and that's definitely a good start, since I know a lot of people who have just been blatantly rejected lately. Good luck!

That MORP idea is interesting, but you had a great idea with the Beeper thing :)
Why so confused girl! He said yes! It really sounds like this guy is shy, so that's the only thing. He's so shy he said "yes" through a mutual friend! So be happy because you've got a date to MORP. :) lol.
