I get money only for doing household chores, if I dont do it, then I don't have money. I do not have any allowances.

my parents are disgustingly cheap. i only get 10 bucks a week. that's like a little more than a dollar a day, they don't even give me money for food.
i rarely ask for money but the times i do they're always like "what do you need it for? why don't you get a job?" my freaking god, i'm 17 no one wants to hire me. |

nope. mostly all the toys, clothes i begged for i had to work back for. they don't just give away money like that. they stop giving me money for everything since i turned 16.
i pay for my own gas, car insurance, clothing, food. but she does pay the rest of the bills - house, internet, phone so its okay |

Sometimes my parents give me money. Well pretty much if I ask to go out with my friends they will give me like.. 10 bucks or so, but I don't go out too often, maybe once every 2-3 weeks.

yeah, i get money from my parents. i try to save it up, but in the end it's all spent when i go out with friends.. on whatever stuff i usually dont remember.
GAH! I NEED A JOB. but it's hard to find one since i'm only 15..

I get 5 dollars a week to spend on anything I wish, and 10 dollars a week for jsut clothing, that I'm not allowed to spend on anything else. Cause my parents used to buy all my clothes, until I started actually having an opinion and htey hated what I wanted to buy most of the time so they said they'd give me the money that I can ration myself and they'll never have to go clothing shopping with me again

Uh, my parents haven't given me money since sophomore year of high school. Before that, my allowance was $5.00 a week.

i used too, but i hardly ask now cuz i work . the thing is , now there asking me for money ,
 which is ok for me cuz were in a finacial situation right now . i just hope i dont have to pay for my gas when i start to drive next year . ontop of that . paying for my student loans . "mo money mo problems ". NY is a bitch to live .

I have my own money.
But my parents will buy my food, occasionally an article of clothing, school-related things, and whatever. Well I have to pay myself if I hang out or go to the movies or something I don't want her knowing about and stuff. I have a little money leftover from my paper route, and I offer to pay sometimes but my mom says she'll pay for it. |

i get no allowance. but i get lunch money... but hey a kids gotta eat lol so i dont save any of that. usually if i want to go to the movies my parents give me a few bucks (like $2 or sometimes $5).. not like a $20 or anything though. sometimes they're just like "do you have your own money? if not your not going" though. so pssht i dont think i get much. but then again i dont really do any chores either so.. w/e idk
