i duno if post this right or not lol

so i live in hong kong..and i go to a chinese school [chinese school means they teach every subjects in chinese except english, opposite to english school] and i am a total freak there cause i am the only one in class (probably whole grade) who only listens to english songs and read english books, fine. and this year...(i am a 8th grader now) some of my classmates starting to listen to english song and then i felt hurt...yah i know, weird neh? but like...english songs were my thing, so go back to your Twins or whatover..and they always asks me for songs, like just now, she asked me to go to a xanga and ask me what's song is that, it was Kelly Clarkson's Behind These Hazel Eyes, i sent it to her, i hesitated to send it to her, you know...i am soo selfish...and i need to act like i am glad to send it to them cause i don't want to get into trouble...i am so fake ermm.gif

there might be some grammatical errors or wrong spelling, sorry about that.

people are starting to warm up to english stuff because it's so different from the stuff they're used to. that's why lot's of people watch anime and listen to non english music in america. people get bored of stuff they see everyday.

i know how you feel...when i find something really nice, like a skirt or something and someone asks me where i got it i hate telling them where so they won't copy me...

don't be too selfish, it's good to open up people's minds to new music.

by the way, you're english is fine, don't worry too much about it happy.gif

Ley sik dut gawn gawn doan wai?

Sorry my chinese to english translation is horrible, but if you're a TRUE hong kongian, then you'll know what I said :D

Well I go to Mary Ward in Toronto, and I think they're Canadians, but they still speak Cantonese even though its an English school. I guess its just preference, but they don't mind being different, and I think you shouldn't either. Appreciate what you appreciate, not what others like.

he's asking you know how to speak canto.
i used to live in Hong Kong i love it there.

i sometimes feel like that too, it's like you're reluctant to share something with someone else, cause you're afraid that they'll be better and stuff.
don't worry about it, i mean it's music, it'll soon catch on anyways

I know how it feels when you want to be different. But the thing is, it's better you share it to them some stuff. Don't tell them everything, if you don't want to.

English is going to get to them sooner or later so since it's there now, why don't you help them? I'm sure your friends will be grateful. =)

Maybe they envy you and know that you know good songs that are English. Dont go off to being selfish ; it just makes bad rumours and people talking bad stuff ah. Dont get mad la.. it's not worth it. That happend to me when I was little, I got selfish over things.. Don't worry. =]
