I want to know who all does this...
I hate to go out by myself and everyone is in college... so I have a tendency to look for people around my area... I found this one girl, and we seem to have a lot in common... she lives like 15 minutes away from me... i feel like a loser when people ask where we meet and stuff... |

Aww, don't! I don't think there's anything to be ashamed about. I mean, meeting people online is "the new thing" I guess, although I'm not one to say you're following the crowd. Still, it's normal in our society today. It would be just as if you met someone in person...sometimes it's better to meet them online first because you get attracted to their personality opposed to looks, which might end up as a bad thing. I wish some of the people I met online lived closer...that would be great.
 Anyways...yeah...I hope I made sense.

Don't be ashamed, I know a lot of people who have met online and are very happy. It's not anything to be ashamed of. My friend met her boyfriend online..so that turned out okay.

i met my ex online, but i mean, we actually got toghether outside the internet, but i guess when people say they met online, its like strictly an online relationship, this guys in new york and shes (supposedly) in california, and wooo shes hot right??... online relationships DONT count! sorta... well, its unless you got definite proof, like maybe you two get toghether and take a walk in the park toghether.

I met a few of my friends online IRL at anime conventions and I also met one of my good friends from an aviation forum in Vegas. But of course I am cautious when meeting people online IRL.

Not boyfriend related but I did meet a friend online first and than later in school...weird..we were sorta close, but our friendship ended quite shortly since he was a senior..but yeah I have nothing against it.

I've never trusted much people online lol.. I lied alot lol saying i was living in a whole different country lol or something like that... But for some I tell the truth.. because I do gain some trust in them and such.. actually, from this site, I've actually trusted some people on here. It's becuase they post their thoughts and opinions and they prove that they are who they areb(most of the time). I mean, I actually went through and called Jackie (foolish heart)! hehes It was so awesome (sshh, she's my secret lover! lolol) and I mean, i never trusted anyone before enough to call them. I usually give out fake numbers if they ever asked, that, or I never gave them a number at all.
I rarely trust anyone ont he internet.. And if I do ever meet anyone offline, I would definitely bring a friend (probably 2 if I could). You never know what could happen...

Go for it. If you're scared to meet her, bring a friend or something. Or meet in a private place. Just be careful and remember, it's always hard to know what's behind the computer screen (if that makes sense...

so, i met this girl today... we went to a park, walked around and talked... drove around and then hung out at my house... it was really odd because usually i am shy but i felt different around here... it was just nice

I just acted like myself when I was around her... and sort of got the same vibe from here... we are both sort like "i dont care what people think of me"... I suppose I'll have to hang out with her with her friends to see how she acts |
