yeah, I have this homework assignment for Japanese and its a paragraph thing where i have to translate it in English. I know and understand the hiragana and katakana stuff, but i cant understand the kanji. can anyone be willing to help me with this? like translate the short paragraph for me in english, or tell me what the kanji says. thanks. i really need help on this.

Something about the Japanese flag and seal? I am Chinese so I understand the kanji, hope that helps a bit.

Yup I'm Chinese too and I think this thing explains the formation of the Japanese national flag or something. But I don't know Japanese so I can't translate it fully for you.

Just can say that the first sentence is "nihon no kikko wa hi no maru mada wa nisshyôki to iwarete iru."( The Japanese flag is round... I can't translate the other part), hehe that doesn't help I know, sorry.
