Bumping this because it came out this past weekend and was #2 at the box-offices.
Did anyone see it? I saw it and I thought it was good but unfocused. |

GREAT movie. Not really a war movie... focuses more on the characters, soldiers in this case. Gives you a glimpse into what our soldiers go through when they're out there protecting our country. It's a great story and the performances are superb as well. I highly reccommend it.

it was a good movie.. anybody who says it was boring or anything around those lines isn't into this kind of movie. it's not action movie.

I saw it and I was not impressed. I left the movie thinking what was the plot? Where was the climax? The acting was good and the cinematography was great. There were a few good scenes but other than that I cant rave much about this movie. I just left the movie feeling like something was missing.

I saw it last night.
I was impressed, as I was expecting to be. The cinematography was spectacular. The characterization was really impressive. They let you know the characters and feel for them without it being all "boo hoo here is my pity story". The music worked well with everything as well. (I really liked the placement of "Don't Worry, Be Happy".  )

i know i made this topic, ut the movie sucked.
heres what i said about in the "best war movie" topic when i was talking to levy. It just languishes in the desert, waiting. its an unimportant movie non the less. dont get me wrong, i was very excited to see it too,(hell i made a topic about it) i didnt expect it to be some action filled war movie, considering "duh" its desert storm.
and its certainly not a classic. because it doesnt have alot of depth. but i did love some of the cinematography its just not a very interesting story, and im not the type of person thats like "yeah there should've been shooting!!!" no. the stoy line just wasnt that interesting nor moving. but if you liked it more power to ya. |
