Okay, so what if you wear Walmart shoes? What's the big deal of it? Here's the story:

I bought a new shoes in Walmart that cost about $30.43. That's a lot for me. The next day, I went to school and people were staring at my shoes like heck. Then one person came up to asked me "Where'd you buy those shoes?" I replied, "In Walmart, why?" Then he laughed at me like crazy. I don't get it. In my school in Maryland, people there doesn't even care if you buy shoes from Walmart or not. And in here, my current school in Sacramento, they're all concentrated on fashion. Now I'm like afraid to buy shoes in Walmart, and regretting that I bought these shoes. _dry.gif All I want is to get my education and that's it.

Did this even happen to you? Or someone you know? pinch.gif

Anyway,
wow. Just for buying your shoes at Walmart. How freaky. That never happened to me. Eh, just ignore those kids.

I also believe it is stupid. As for why they were doing it, my guess would be that it kinda gives off a "poor" aura or so?

California's like that. But 30 bucks for Wal-Mart shoes are quite expensive. A pair of converse (chuck taylor kind sky blue color) is only $29.99 no kidding.

As soon as you like it, that's fine. No biggie.

Meh, they're just shoes. I don't like buying expensive shoes either...I saw some chick with $400 shoes that looked horrible, but she thought they were the latest thing. It looked like roadkill.

If you like the shoes, wear them. I get some of my shoes at Target because I like them, and they're comfortable, so why not? Like dress shoes and stuff. Cheap, comfortable, and they look nice. What more could you want? It doesn't matter to me.. and seriously.. you should say, "Where'd you get your shoes? The dumpster?" Might sound kind of immature, but it might make them shut up. Although.. if they're liable to beat you up, then don't say that.

But do whatever you want. If people care so much about fashion maybe they should be knocked upside the head.

So Cal is like that too. They make such a big deal out of unpopular brand name clothes.

I mean, does that person expect someone to wear the same Dickie(brand name) pants as everyone or what? It's annoying.

Aww welcome to Cali. Well that has never happened to me. But I remember last year this boy named Michael at my school was clowned by some girls for wearing Shaq shoes. But that was because no one really liked him and he always said mean things to people. If you have a good personality and are kind to people I dont see why they would say mean things about your shoes.

maybe it's because I never tell anyone where I get my stuff because most of the time they'll end up copying me.
& I was surprised when you bought Walmart shoes for $30, that's really expensive for something at Walmart. I actually bought some rather nice ones for $3.00 at Walmart, where I glued some googly eyes on them.

lol It's different with girls. Nowadays, we wear sandals and girls stare at each other's toes--the whole painted toenails ordeal.

Wow $30 for shoes at walmart? mellow.gif If you had $20, you could've bought some Adidas. :P

If they care about where you bought your shoes...they're not worth your time. Seriously, I would just laugh back at them and be like, "Why the hell would you care? Do you really have no life?" And just laugh at them and walk away. Then, I would wear the shoes all the time. Haha. *Stick it to 'em

I've had bad experiences with walmart shoes, but if you like 'em, wear 'em. But if you're gonna wear it, stand up for yourself. If you're afraid of people teasing, then fine, go wear what everyone else is wearing. But if you like your shoes, make sure everyone knows it. Start teasing and asking if you got your shoes from Walmart, just be like "HELL YEAAA, and they're way better than yours!" Once they figure you wear your shoes cuz you like them, and they can't get to you by teasing you (even if it does get to you), they'll eventually stop teasing. And who knows? maybe you'll start a trend.

Tell them they r losers! What is the difference between walmart and high street brands? Just the marketing strategy! That is so sad and superficial. It isnt true that just cause its more expensive it is better quality. Probably a Gucci pair of shoes are better quality but it seems such a waste to buy designer when u will grow out of it.

Wow, that's terrible. But nobody really says anything about what I wear. I just tell them to get over it or don't look at me.. heh.

I used to wear shoes from wal mart all the time until they sort of hurt my feet. People like that are just materialistic and have their priorities mixed up. Not everyone can afford freaking $100 shoes.
