Did you ever get your appendix out? Ever since my teacher talked about how the appendix can burst and poison you I became curious on who got it taken out since half of my class did. If your answer is yes.. when? I never got mine out so yippido

The appendix is an organ somewhere near your digestive system. It is pretty useless. It is in your body for no particular reason. It doens't have a specialty... nothing... But scientists do believe it was probably useful 1000 years ago or something...

Some people also believe it could be part of evolution, and it may have a use in the future.

mine was out when i was nine. i have a scar from the surgery since my wound was infected.

I guess appendix can only get infected...not bursted.
I have never got mine taken out.

It's a vestigial structure, if you have studied evolution, you should know what I am talking about.
