Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, X3... Options

Okay! Advent children kicks some major ass! >_<!

Okay! So there's a HUGe uproar about FF7: AC being up for download, and it's true. I have seen it after I downloaded it and I'm very pleased with it. There are some things I'm not happy about, but I'm pretty much very, very, very content with it.

It starts off with flashbacks to the game and explains the situation a bit, then it goes to Cloud and the story starts. I was surprised at how fast Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz came in, but it gets the story moving faster. We all know they're trying to find 'Kaasan(Jenova) and round up the children to hurt the planet. But, our hero, Cloud Strife, won't let that happen. Thus the fights and yep. Sephiroth? Wanna know about him? Ask me on AIM or MSN if you really want to know, but otherwise, you'll have to watch to find out. ^-~*

That's all I'll say about a summary of it.

Umm. Let me see. The fight scenes are very good, gravity defying, but nice. Loz and Cloud prove how good they are on their motorcycles and Cloud shows us just how good he is with his swords and how good he is fighting on his bike.

Kadaj doesn't do much fighting, more towards the end of the movie; Loz and Yazoo do most of the fighting with Cloud.

Reno and Rude have their moments, it's hilarious and Vincent's cape gives him that great creepy and kickass feeling we should get from him. Hmm.. if you've ever seen Spawn, his cape does that sort of thing, moving on his own a bit.

And in this movie.. you learn just how soft of a heart Cloud has when it comes to children. ^^ Hmm, that's all I really have to say that doesn't give away spoilers..

At least I'm not going through and saying every little thing that happens in the movie, so it's not all spoilers. If you think it is than too bad. And I'm glad it did. People have been waiting long enough for it to come out and have been pissed because of all the delays and push back dates. I'm glad I got to see it and I don't care what anyone has to say. A lot of people are GLAD they can download it. We deserve it considering we've been THIS loyal to wait for it. Don't like it, too bad. v.v;

And excuse me if I sound rude but I'm defensive of what I have takent eh time out to write. If you don't likt it or think it's a spolier, then just don't read it. Simple as that.

If you knew the reason they were delaying it then it makes sense. Because they were actually suppose to release it with the new vincent game which was going to come out in like 1 month from now. I'm not really pissed that it leaked but i said its gay because from everyone that watched it around me keeps saying that its a lame movie and such. On the other hand Square Enix just got jipped millions of dollars and that sucks like hell. But on the other hand it can lead to something great. Because they lost money from what they thought would be the biggest seller. They can actually make a Final Fantasy 7 remake on the ps3 just like the technical demo shows.

And my bad I think I judged you to fast. I just saw summary and I was thinking in my head like wtf... But sorry if you took it the wrong way. Because truthfully just like anime it sucks when someone reveals the whole thing to you when you waiting on it ya know?

Hey, just because I downloaded it doesn't mean I'm not going to buy it. I will buy it when I have the money. Everything I download I will eventually buy when I have the money. Right now, I don't have the money and I'm glad it can be downloaded because not everyone has or will have the money to buy it. And it's stupid that they'd wait to release it with Dirge Of Cerberus; I can understand them wanting to do something like that, but to delay a movie even LONGER than when it was suppose to actually be released, which was like a year or more ago just to let it out with a new game is stupid, if you ask me.

The graphcis are something I have never seen before and can't wait until the release a movie with those kind of graphics. Anyways the ending is my favorite part. Yeah but this movie was awesome because it was good to see the characters fully developed and with good graphics unlike the ps1 version where they are all boxy and have circles for hands. Hehe cloud and all the other characters have so many different things that I didn't know they could do =P.

There really isn't much difference in both. AVI has a subtitle seperatly with it. From what I hear you have to use a thing called BSplayer beause it opens the subtitle file automatically for you. I used this korean player...

But theres no difference just a bit difference in the contrast and brightness

No quality is not different at all. The graphics and everything are the same. Except the dvd version is just a bit brighter than the AVI version. Nothing to do with quality of the graphics

Avi is perfectly fine. In my point of view its only a few mb smaller that DVD and its perfectly nice and you still get to watch the movie =P

See, I thought it was Aeris' voice, and I hate people who call her Aerith because that's what America did to her name in KH.. -_-; Anyways, I couldn't tell and they weren't making it clear. And I don't understand why Kadaj would call Aeris 'kaasan' when when he says 'kaasan' he's referring to Jenova. ._.; It's confusing and I hate how they don't make that clear.

Another thing that bugs me... why does Kurado(Cloud and I think I'm spelling it right) have a red ribbon wrapped around his left arm? oO

What he does is he holds on to it because he wants to be forgiven for his sins and until he gets it forgiven he'll take it off. Only thing that it relates to. If you guys noticed this movie had more of a Kingdom Hearts side to because when cloud did the limit break he turned yellow with like electric speed just like the game when you fight him and he says " Are you Ready? " and he does almost the same thing. Fly around and slash the crap out of you =P.

Jesus Christ. The Movie version IS the avi version. AVI is a video Format. when ryou rip them they are generally in AVI format. So the question would be. Did you get just the movie in AVI format, with the subtitles seperate, or did you get the movie in AVI with the subtitles Embeded?

Tifa also did something similar to one of her limit breaks and it was sumersault kick or however you spell it. When she was fighting LOZ she did it and it was really similar to something in the game. Even though I would've liked to see Dolphin kick my favorite limit break =P.

If you watched the english they explain it to you. That Kadaj is nothing but a cacoon for the cells of "You know who" And when he combined with Jenova which "you know who" is made out of.. BOOM he came out.. ANyways hope thats clears up some stuff for you. And the movie was great. I got everything I was hoping for so I was satisfied

There shouldn't be any English dubs out right now. So far I've seen two versions. My friend got it on a DVD and it came with a menu and everything and a bunch of subtitle options. Another friend of mine has the avi file on his computer and it also came with english sub, no options. Just dl another version and watch it, there's a bunch out there now.

Personally I wasn't that impressed with the movie, there wasn't anything new. Square just slapped together a bunch of old FF7 stuff (and made it look really cool) around a single new idea and call it a movie knowing that all the fans will flock to it. It was just eyecandy to see the characters in good CG but that was about it.

Hehe sw33ties.. Did you play the game before you watched the movie? Sephiroth was created by using Jenova cells in a experiment. That is why he is related to jenova... and if you actually download the subbed version you will understand why kadaj became sephiroth.. heres just a brief something:

Kadaj is a spirit which are considered clones. Another person with geostigma and considered his Kaasan Jenova... He is like a cacoon that will turn into sephiroth one day and when he actually has hold of jenova's head and he uses it. He becomes sephiroth. Jenova cells created sephiroth so thats how sephiroth was brought out.


*Freecandies = Yeah but you also have to know that the script writers for FFVII and AC were actually two different script writers. So I was pretty impressed with the persons ability to actually keep the story line on track with the game. Also yeah I was impressed with the CG. But there are people who aren't fans that just watch it for the sake of the graphics when they don't understand a thing =P.

For some reason your comment makes mine more true. If they're different writers then I'd have to expect them to come up with more original stuff, right? I'm not going to be impressed with their ability to stick to a storyline that they haven't done because that's part of their job and that's what they're paid to do. I'm just not impressed overall that Square pushed this movie down the cliche path that's all.

Ahh ok ok. Go download BSPLAYER and you'll be able to watch it with subtitles. Because bsplayer opens the subtitle file for you as well.. And if you get a error. Just restart your comp and try again and it should work.

let me give you guys a review. first the review then spoilers explaining stuff.

it was pretty good. though the fight scenes were cool, there was no magic at all. like you wont see them cast a firaga or a thundara. no magic except for little energy balls like from DBZ. that dissapointed me. Also, you don't see chocobo. The movie was fast paced and the battles were amazing. But there is only one summon and that summon was for the bad guys. Yep, so all in all the movie was good, but it didn't have any of the game elements. I like the music in the movie because it's all piano-ized. So that's good.

Ok. So I think the 3 white haired guys are clones of Sephiroth. They are perfect clones of him though, not like cloud and failed clone. I don't know why they werent in the game, probably cloned after sephiroth got beat by cloud. So i think the 3 of them were trying to find "mother" so they can start the reunion. The reunion is bringing back sephiroth and jenova to take over the planet. They succeeded in the reunion, but cloud stopped it before it went too far. And that's all i really understand. kind of complicated.

Actually, im kinda curious to see which summon they were battling, it seemed like a mix of Alexander and Bahamnut.

^ Haha play the game. It clarifies the movie for you. And no possessed cloud did not kill aeris... it was sephiroth who killed her when she was praying... hehe =P

Ric3 it is actually bahamut they are fighting. If you watch the movie they call it bahamut.. Its just that they changed it and modified how it looks. To me it looks more like ultima weapon from the back. and has FFX bahamut characteristics.

HAve you seen the special edition box thats in Japan? Whew, you can pre-order it on Lik-sang for 329 I think. It's crazy, almost every type of AC memorabilia that you could want. I want one, but I don't feel like just spending that much money. Even thought you do get alot of stuff and it's awesome.

I especially want the Advent Children ring. Does that come with the Advent Pieces box? Erm ok. Well, after watching the movie about eight or nine times, I think that it lacked plot the most and I guess showed too much screen time for Cloud and not the others. Ok, I'm starting a rant aren't I?

Anyways, I really give this movie a thumbs up. More eyecandy than story so people who didn't play the game, (like me but read a freakishly huge story analysis) can watch it without being confused so much.

Hehe one reason the movie revolves around cloud a lot because hes the main character of the movie. Hes basically connected with the story plot on everything =P.

Anyways I remenber reading that they say its bahamut during the movie. I think it was my subtitle version.

Actually some people do refer to his as kaddash. Not kaddish.. Because kadaj said in japanese terms has a similar sound to it but yeah its just some people.

and it has a kick ass soundtrack but even though i downloaded it i want the dvd but gamestop said we will get it in january which is gay but anyways best movie ever made

Everyone was on the airship and they wouldn't help explain to her what was going on between Kadaj and Sephiroth after she said she didn't understand. And then Cid spat out at her that it's "man talk", hence her screams of discrimination while slightly jumping up and down. xP

Actually, im kinda curious to see which summon they were battling, it seemed like a mix of Alexander and Bahamnut.

i think it was ultima weapon...it looked like ultima weapon to me...iunno im prolly wrong :] but the movie was definite kick in the butt. so cool.
