You have to find the least common multiple of all three denominators. -thinks for 5 seconds- Okay, it's 45. So now
8/9 = 40/45 1/5 = 9/45 7/15 = 21/45 So now the problem is 5 40/45 - 2 9/45 - 1 21/45 5 40/45 -2 9/45 ---------- 3 31/45 -1 21/45 ----------- 2 10/45 Simplified: 2 2/9 |
