has anyone seen that show on MTV, sweet sixteen? man, i wish i could spend my 16 bday like that. i have no money what soo ever to get a bday like that. even if my mom won the lotto, i wouldn't even get a bday like the people on the show. those kids are soo lucky. getting a car, the whole day spent on you like your some type of king or queen. that would be the best. man my 16th is gonna suck. jk everyone on cb is invited!! yay!! PARTY LIKE THE BIG SWEET SIXTEENERS!!

lol yah that show "sweet 16" is crazy! Most of those girls on there are spoiled brats to tell yah the truth. "oh yah daddy i GUESS 3 grand is enough for my new versache dress.....but i'm getting shoes too remember.."
man, lol. Call me crazy, but i would feel so uncomfortable having that big of a party. I mean i know it'd probably be a blast, but it just wouldn't be me.
For my sweet 16, my mom suprised me by taking my two best friends and I to downtown Baltimore in a limo at a nice restaurant :) It was sooo much fun. But i think the most extravagent "pampering" thing i've ever gotten, was in 9th grade. There was this really rich girl, who was on the basketball team with me. She took ALL the girls on the team to get their Hair AND Makeup done at a spa, we got a limo,..all dressed up, went to little italy by the water, and went back to her place for some huge sleepover at her mansion. Yah that night was like a dream for me. Sooo much fun, i wish i had pictures from that time :(

Hmm, I didn't really do anything on my sweet 16th. My boyfriend at the time (ex now) gave me a sweet present. We were going to hang out afterschool, but he was too busy.

i had a big sweet 16 formal party...not THAT big like on the show but yeah..
if anyone knows filipino tradition (which i'm part, seeing as i'm mixed) then girls have their big debut party at 18...but my bday is in november so i'd already be in university...sooo we downsized it and had a big thing for my 16th bday.
we went to this gorgeous golf & country club to use as a hall type thing (swan-e-set golf and country club if anyone lives in the vancouver, bc, canada area might know it) and had a nice formal dinner & dance thing with some traditions like the 16 roses and such. the guest list was about 70-ish people long.

Anyways, on my 16th birthday I spent it with my friends. My friends from public school picked me up (they didn't have school that day) and we went to the park n played ball. Then my parents took us out to eat at some buffet. Then we went back to the park and played ball until 10:30 at night lol. It just sucked that I had school again the next day.

my swt 16th passed this summer, and i really didn't do anything. i'm planning to have a big party for my 18th birthday, like a filipino tradition thing. it's called a 'debut' in the philippines.. or a cotillion :O
