Hey guys,
This is my first post. I found this forum a few months ago. Been lurking and using codes but decided to join. I also decided to tackle my first layout/skin using sweetxsimplicity's tutorial Heres it is http://www.xanga.com/lordnemesis I found the main pic on another xanga. The poem on it is an original by me. I designed it on IE with a desktop size of 1024x768 Give me some of your thoughts on it. |

hmm, it looks nice, but its completely mis-alighed in Safari, then again, most Xangas don't even support Safari or Camino, so why bother talking about that...
Its amazingly nice for a first. Good job. |

i like the concept but for some reason the background in the divs/entries hurt my eyes. |

QUOTE(DullStringedGuitar @ Sep 7 2005, 5:23 PM) o wow.. her tutorial must be really god if u can make layouts like that the first time good job one thing- in the conatacting and stuff, the unused scroll bars are kinda a distraction other than that, i give it 2 thumbs up =) Thanks for pointing that out... I double checked the code and and fixed it. and thanks for the comments guys. This is my first xanga layout/skin but Im no stranger to web graphics. Although it did take me a few minutes to figure out the opacity. I used gimp 2.2 instead of photoshop. Im already have the graphics of another layout out fixed and ideas for 2 more. I think Im addicted haha |

Way to go! My only critique is to make the entries the same width as the banner/poem... that goes for the navigation too. Great job!

Wow, it is really good for a first time, but its just not my type, I suggest going for something more simple and more aligned.... like uniform, but good job!
