have you ever read the book stargirl? it tells a story about a out of place girl who has never thought of anything but others, yet she is so different that she is shunned and hated by the high school...

is there anyone you know like that?

^please don't spam _smile.gif
Is this more focused on the book, or whether or not we know someone out of place?

I've read that book before like in the 6th grade. I wanted to read a sequel really bad.. but there wasn't one.. haha. Of course I know people like that; they're put down because they aren't like everyone else. It's like.. a bad thing almost nowadays.

Yes, it should be in entertainment because it clearly states "book discussion".

It took me some time to go and check up on what the description under entertainment was. =P

im not wrong because 1) it's my opinion, so by defination it can't be wrong and 2)unless you can prove me that there are people who bring pets to school, change their name, and revolutionize highschool society? are there any where you live?

I'm in Texas...

and there are girls who legally change their names

and they wear..."different" clothing

and they do one hell of a lot on the revolutionize high school part.

Stargirl...this was the one with the girl who put a tablecloth over her desk with a vase of flowers? And when another girl slapped her, she kissed her cheek? I recall reading this years ago, but I don't quite remember the entire story.
