Okay I posted this somewhere else, but it got me to thinking. If this guy is the first guy to become pregnant, I wonder if in the future how many men will take this option. So I was curious, would any of the male members here at this website be willing to do this. Personally, I think its great research and see nothing wrong in it. I don't see why we should be the only ones to have a part in this process. Anyways, here is the link for the website, and I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks about it. Apologies if its already been posted.

...A baby popper area? Why can't you just call things what they are?

It's a vagina.

My apologies, but I didn't know it was a hoax. Especially since the site for the hospital that this all being done at seemed like a real website. I made a mistake in thinking it was real, because I had read other articles about it. And yes I have been in several science courses, but here is my question, have you ever made a mistake before? I'm sure you've found a website, or whatever and thought it was real. I don't appreciate your remark, and I didn't know that this had been posted before.

it's fake from top to bottom. But is it plausible?

Not very. Some scientists have argued that a male pregnancy is theoretically possible, but in reality the procedure would be so dangerous that the risks would outweigh any possible benefits.

Essentially what it would require would be inducing an ectopic pregnancy — wherein an embryo is implanted somewhere other than the uterus — in a male subject. In women such pregnancies are considered so hazardous (the number one cause of first-trimester deaths) that they're almost always terminated soon after diagnosis. Even if such a condition could be artificially induced in a male, the subject would run a greater and greater risk of hemorrhaging to death as the pregnancy proceeded.

Well it is a fake, but a pretty good fake. I thought it was true because I had read several articles, and when you look at it they did a pretty decent enough job on the site. I feel pretty stupid for believing in it, but anyways from what I read through all the hoax websites, while that site is a hoax, the possibility of male pregnancy isn't exactly impossible. Or atleast some doctors they don't think so, but because our technology isn't that good, and because of all the risks involved it probably wont ever be done. But my thoughts were if the risk factors weren't so high, and we had all the right technology to do it, would guys be willing to do it?

AGH. Don't even mention Bonsai Kitten. I'm tired of all those ignorant 'animal lovers' stomping the streets about that stupid hoax. If they were intelligent animal lovers, they'd look into it if other LEGAL FORCES have become involved. Must be so convincing. I applaud the creator of that site.

Anyway, I looked at all the videos and was laughing my head off. What the hell is with those things?

that being said, i suggest this be closed, or the first thread dug up and merged.

No, men cannot give birth, but it's possible for them to breast feed! Why'd you think they have nipples? =x

I never got a chance to actually look at the videos on the website, considering my slow internet and all I'd never get to see anything. But my thing was that most hoax websites don't go to all that trouble of making graphics and videos and making it look that realistic. I know that men can't give birth, even the hoax website said that the guy wouldn't give birth lol, its all supposedly done by c-section. Its just that I heard of an article somewhere where they were actually doing research on stuff like that because they believed by the year 2010 that males, with the help of surgery and horomones and the like, could be carry a baby. Most of the urban legend websites all pretty much agree that while guys can never have babies, if our technology was better they could have one put inside them, but the risks right now are so high that its not worth it.

About the Bonsai Kitten thing I never really did believe, just cause I couldn't see how a website would ever get away with sending kittens in jars. I agree with Aka about it, if they ever bothered checking on PETA's website they'd see where it proves that Bonsai Kitten is a hoax. I feel sorry for them because they must get tons of e-mails all the time about that place. But what aggravates me is all the people on myspace that make bulletins about how you need to sign this petition because if they get over 600 signatures supposedly that site would be closed. Apparently they claim they had done it before, but it was re-open or some crap like that. The best part is where they went on about how supposedly kittens are being kept in horrible factories, having tubes implanted in them, and shoved into jars where they are kept alive by the tubes inside of them. I bet that the owner of the website never stops laughing at how many people actually believe that site is true. What I'd give to be able to read some of the idiotic e-mails he/she must get haha.

Anyways, I apologize to all for posting this. I know how it is to see a hoax website constantly posted, at one website forum I'm at we constantly see the Bonsai Kitten one posted. I hope no one is mad at me for posting this, all in all I just wondered how guys would feel though if they could, with the right technology of course, carry a child inside of them.

Haha I didn't mean it like that...ok well I did. I agree with the reasons that were posted. The whole "men should be able to experience the same "wonderful" feelings that women do during childbirth" thing, but it's so weird to see a guy like that. If it's a hoax, that would be a little dissapointing but then again I don't plan on getting knocked up
