you can upload files to geocities right?
just make an index.htm or .html page, containing what you want your main page to be, and upload it.

sorry if you cant upload files on geocities...im not really sure about that

When you log into geocities.
Go to Html Editor.
Thats where you add all your html.

Your first page should be a index.html page
all subpages can be whateveryounamethem.html

I'm using it at the mo'.
It's simple; just log in first, and on the side under 'Advanced Toolbox', click File Manager.
When you get to the main page, click 'Open File Manager', and then check the index.html page and click 'Edit'.

Yes if you want to add your own codeing.

But remember this is a basic html template . meaning you should have this in your html.

CODE
<html>
<head>
<title>YOURSITENAMEHERE</title>
YOUR CSS (sTYLESHEET) HERE
</head>
<body>
ALL OTHER CODES HERE
</body>
</html>
