oh my %$@#*&^.

Okee Dokee so, My friend and I pretty close but whenever I tell her something really personal, she promises that she won't say anything but she ends up telling everyone whatever I say. This happened more than once. I just always forgive her. But I can't feel like I could trust her much anymore. What should I do? :(

I hope this makes sense, I don't feel so coherent today.

I suggest not telling her then. Instead try writing it on paper then riping it up that way you feel as if you told it but it can't be read (told) by anyone else. Or if you have a pet tell it to them. This way your friend might ask why you don't tell her anything anymore. Tell her the reason.

-->topic moved to relationships<--

I think it's time to stop telling her things. If she can't keep her mouth shut when she promises she will, then you shouldn't trust her. If she asks why, then just tell her because until she can learn how to keep secrets you're keeping yours to yourself. Maybe she'll learn.

stop telling her personal things, she can't keep her mouth shut than she doesn't deserve to know things like this. you shouldn't trust her, she's already betrayed you by telling others what you told her.

you're keeping secrets from your boyfriend?
even if it's about you being afraid that he'll dump you, you should still tell him.

just don't tell your friend stuff.

I had a similar problem before..
I say, tell her certain stuff, but don't tell her stuff that you don't want the whole world to know..Does that make sense?You can be friends with her, but just don't tell her certain things..

this one is easy. Don't tell her anything. I have aq friend who is the same way. I would specifually tell him not to talk, and I knew he was the only person I told, and somehow it would get around, so I stopped confiding in him. Thats all you can really do. Explain to her that if you wanted everyone to know your business, you would tell them yourself. Period. Also, tell her if its really important to her, she can try to earn your trust back slowly. But if you decide to do this, make sure you start off with little things, so if she cant even keep quiet with the little unimportant things, you know for sure if it was something big, thats shes not trustworthy. Theres nothing you can do personally to make someone more trustworth, just don't trust her. Sorry about your friend though.

I'd say just don't tell her anything at all. And when she asks why you never do anymore, you tell her the truth.

Don't tell her anything for awhile until she can rebuild back the trust between you two. You might wanna explain your emotions as well.
