Anybody listen to Sparklehorse? They're great.

and Cougar is super catchy. "Too Much".. It's funny how much I relate to that song right now.

And Jesus, I've become obsessed with the Pernice Brothers.

You guys should DEFINITELY check out Chin Up Chin Up.

^i've been hearing about chin up chin up so freakin' much recently. i need to get around to downloading, but i think i've pirated enough in the last hour.

bands: archers of loaf, the black heart procession, heavens to betsy, holopaw, john vanderslice ("amitriptyline" is so wonderful), the reindeer section, the rocket summer, and twothirtyeight.

and if you haven't heard "micronomic" by lali puna before, you should definitely download it.

Man. I've been listening to Chin Up Chin Up for a couple of hours now. Not hours-straight, actually, because I had to listen to the song Nicki recommended, which was also pretty good.

^eh, i don't know if they're underground.. they're not what i usually listen to. but they remind me of the spill canvas, which i infinitely prefer (can you even use those two words together?) to dashboard.

edit: pauline i'm in love. the things i have been missing out on! i wish i could've downloaded their songs a few months back when i first heard of them, but for some reason i confused them with that ska band up up down down left left right right enter enter or whatever, and i was turned off... which is lame.

Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start! Haha. Their "Song Competition" is actually pretty good, IMO.

my chronic inability to put the right number of 'l's in 'trillion' makes download searching incredibly inconvenient

btw, nicki, i found sparklehorse on limewire.... if you're still having trouble. i couldnt find gold day, though. if someone would send it to moi?

and yeah, william.

the spill canvas > the rocket summer

well, initially,at least i hadnt heard either before about half an hour ago

i listened to the spill canvas and the rocket summer a while back, but i haven't listened to either in quite a while. i don't think i was particularly taken with the rocket summer, though

the only think i can stand by dashboard (confessional, yes?) is vindicated.

and i have no earthly idea why, as its really not a very good song. but i like it nonetheless
