I can't stop listening to "Mega Colon" by Fischerspooner.
If I'm not "physically" listening to it, it's on repeat inside my head.
And if I am "physically" listening to it, it's on repeat on winamp.
dhudfdfak

Oh. I found out that my stepdad backed up the 2k mp3s I lost, and I'm going to get an IPOD this/next week, which means I (at long last) get most of my music back.

......
*still on repeat*

ha, my head does that too, but winamp annoys me (which is irrelevant)

my stepdad offered to loan me money to buy an ipod-esque thing, but my mom threw a fit and so i cant anyway

i've had my ipod for two years. or however long ago they came out. mine really needs to be replaced.

i tried downloading "work" before i left, but all 4 of the files i downloaded were corrupted. darn asshats on limewire.

my cds from bn came while i was gone (mates of state, her space holiday, tilly and the wall) and i also bought achilles heel (pedro the lion, i've been meaning to buy that for the longest freaking time) and kill them with kindness (the jealous sound, it's too.. formulaic for me) at borders since we were really far away from sonic boom records (indie record shop). i also attempted to find crimes (the blood brothers) and we forgot it in people (broken social scene) at the biggest barnes and noble i've ever seen, but they "organized" their cds in such a way i found it impossible and walked away with a headache.

i also fell in love with peaches, gravy train, freezepop, and the blood brothers on the way there, thanks in the most part to pauline.

^this guy i got a ride home from one day introduced me to the blood brothers (or rather, id heard of them, but allowed me to actually listen, and then listen further)

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/guide...ide.heading.004
i found this and found it vaguely interesting. nevermind that i already listened to most of the music on it, but it almost traced the order i got into indie music, except not quite of course

meanwhile, i keep hearing the postal service on commercials, and this afternoon i actually snapped and ranted loudly for 10 minutes, only for my dad to ask if it was bad that they were doing so, which led me on for another 5 minutes. now its on again. i am most annoyed. HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE SECOND ONE IN A ROW

I love the Blood Brothers. --Especially their "Love Rhymes with Hideous Car Wreck". Heh, I've had the lyrics in my signature for quite a while now. Anndd, I finally got to see the music video for that song the other day.

The Blood Brothers totally need to come to the Bay Area.

The Cinema Eye <3
I fell in love with them at first listen.

The Cinema Eye - What You Die For

They sort of remind me of Pretty Girls Make Graves, though.

i love "a simple plan" by pedro the lion. the only thing that turns me off about it is the title.. reminds me of the oh so annoying pop punk band.

^ yeah, when i came back from vacation there was a link to change it on my front page.

rapture is still probably my favorite from them. i would like some more of their cds.

the tilly and the wall album is awesome. my current favorite is "you and i misbehaving".

edit: "just let go" by fischerspooner is SO damn catchy.
