oOoOoOo, i want one so bad! i'm 17 and will prolly get one when i turn 18, cuz my rents said no tats or piercings till i'm out of the house. i think a tounge ring is soo sexy and subtle. not like a huge hoonker on your eyebrow or nose. its edgy without being overly show-y. luv it. plus, make out sessions will be hot!

Heh ... I was thinking about that not to long ago. But I'm to scared that'll it'll hurt alot, I mean it's my tounge. And if I got it in, I don't think I could do the belly roll with my tounge anymore... I was talking about that to my cuss last weekend and she was like "that'll only make you look like a sl*t, the guys will be like "oh she has a tounge ring I bet she gives good head" SO0O ... I don't think I want one. ;]

i don't have one.
i probably never will. i like them on other ppl, but i have way too many concerns to get one myself. my friend though got one when she was 14. she went someplace where they would do it for her...  but when she got home her mom was so pissed and made her take it out.  but she said it didn't hurt too bad.

hmm.. tongue rings don't hurt.. but your tongue will swell for about 2 weeks and u can't really eat.. and it takes quite a while to get use to cuz there's something constantly in your mouth and u talk a little funny for a while..

i got my tongue pierced when i was 13 and i swear, it didn't hurt. it didn't hurt as much as a ear cartilage piercing. if you can handle getting your ears pierced, then you should be fine with your tongue. its just that your tongue swells to about twice its original size during the healing period and thats a hassle... but its all good afterwards because its worth it!!!

My boyfriend pierced his tongue about a year ago and he's really happy about it. He said that it hurts more piercing your ear cartilage than getting your tongue pierced. It's not all that bad! You just need to make sure you don't let it get infected and the first week it'll be swollen. I thought it was so funny everytime my boyfriend tried to talked because I'll I could hear was mumbles lol

i got mine done a couple weeks ago..my tongue swelled a tiny bit but didnt hurt AT ALL..didnt hurt while i got it done..didnt hurt the next day or anything..my piercer is awesome..anything i've ever gotten done by him never hurt or got infected or anything..i love it..it didnt bleed either..eating was easy..the day i got it done i ate ice all day, then the next day i had a hamburger and fries, spaghetti, umm..i dunno..there wasnt anything that i COULDNT eat..and the first 2 days it was a bit difficult to speak..but after that everythings been fine =)

this kid in my school got one (and did it by herself) she didnt get an infection or anything..but its pretty dangerous to do it by yourself
im never getting one...ears are fine for me  actually my grandma has a nose ring too but its a cultural thing in india

i have a tounge done and i freakin' love it! i'm 15 right now and i just lied to the guy who did it and told him i was 18. i got it done like 2 weeks ago, and it did hurt like a beatch and i developed a wierd lisp (or how ever yu spell it lol) for 2 days after i got it. i drank milk shakes and sucked on ice for 2 days after i got it done and then it stopped hurtin' and swellin' and i could eat withought pain. i think its wonderfull and the pain was worth it.... but just to warn yu it hurt me like hell when i got it done, i couldn't close my mouth for the first 10min cause the ring couldn't move up and down yet. but it was fun to walk through the streets watchin' ppl stair at me cause i was screamin' and had my mouth open like a freak lol.

no offense but i find tounge rings hideous and kinda stupid looking. this girl at my school got one and it ended up getting infected. O__o
most of the time, girls get it for oral sex reasons and/or they are vying for attention. or at least, thats what most of the girls HERE get it done for. |
