I want one. When i'm 18 though. Something small on my hip My mum says I aint got the guts to have it done but I will. Like she thinks I'm not gonna get my nipple pierced, but I will

My mum has some tattoo's but she regrets most and she burnt one out and she's covered two of them with another tattoo. My dad hates tattoo's and piercings. He says "If it wasn't there when you was born, there's no need for it" My uncle has one across the inside of his arm. A skull with a guitar through its head. Loads of others up his arms as well.

i just got one recently, and it's on the right side of my lower back and it goes around to my side. by back didn't hurt as bad as my side, but the outline hurts the worst. if you can make it through the outline, the rest is cake!

Ok, I have a tattoo  First of all, how old are you? I was about to turn 16 when I got mine. Next, make sure you are getting your tattoo for the right reasons... not to be trendy or that... but something you will cherish forever. I got a cross because of my faith. Now, as for the pain... it really depends on where you are getting the tattoo. Mine is on my lower back, and it didnt hurt bad until the needle goes over the spine. It doenst hurt that much though... the lining of it hurts more than the filling. Caution!!!  If you get a tattoo on your lower back, you cannot, I repeat, cannot have an epideral when you have a child... that is the pain shot they give you. You'll have to get an IV drip or go natural. Tattoos on the wrist are very painful... but lower back is the second most painful. Make sure the place is clean... and good luck! Remember to breathe, because you will pass out if you dont. (the girl next to me did...)

One i have never ever heard that you can not get an epideral. I know many people that have tattoos on their lower backs and they have never been told this. So i dont know where you heard that but i dont think its true. Because im pretty sure the tattoo place would have to warn you about this. I went with many of my friends for theirs and the place was a good clean respectable place, and there was never any warning of this. So i think that might be a myth.

Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to mention another thing... even after the tattoo is healed, it will still burn at times. I've had mine for a yera now, and every once and a while it starts to burn and I have to lotion it... keep it lotioned, because they will burn forever. And they do not burn forever. They dont ever burn. The first few days they itch but it goes away. You might want to have yours checked out cuz i think there is something wrong.

So yes i have 2 tattoos. One is my name with swirls and stars. On the right side of my lower back. And the other is a faerie in the middle of my upper back.
Yes they do hurt but they are def. worth the pain. But you must make sure it is something you will like forever.

i got 2..stars on my wrist and the chinese symbol for love on my hip..

the outline hurt the most, but after that it goes numb and you cant feel a thing..at least..i didnt..

tattoos hurt most when they go over bone, so if you dont want to be hurt, dont get it over bone (which is kind of hard to do) it was hard for me cos im skinny so like..everywhere is boney haha..

definetely keep it lotioned annnnd..hmm..i cant really think of anything else..sorry..i'll post if i think of anything else tho..

ionno...but they do it at the mall for $25 they use a needle n everythin but its not real...it lasts a couple months

That's henna. I've had about 2 or 3 of those. They are cool.

I have an angel on the uper right corner of my back and loyal to my hood tatooed over my stomach. Loyal to my hood isn't actually tatooed in word form it's LTMH on my stomach.

I reccomend you getting fat, it hurts if you go over bone. Also you will experience some soreness. The tattoo dosen't hurt that bad, it depends on your pain tolerency. Put it this way, it feels like a constant cat scratch ripping across your flesh.

Since I'm such a band nerd, I have a tattoo of the bass clef (the clef that I usually play in) and I will get a cross with roses with thorns running down it, and a little blood.

I'm jealous. I wish I was getting my first one Thurseday. But at least I get my first free and the rest discounted. My aunt owns a tattoo shop and my other aunt is a tattoo artist.

yup i want four of them. The first one im going to get is Dusty tattooed on me with paw prints, DTA with barbed-wire wrapped around it, a cross with a bleeding rose wrapped around it and then a dragon.

i had trouble with getting the tattoo, its open late at night, and i can't get out that late, so i have to wait until this fall when im in college cuz thats the only way im ever gonna get any freedom

I don't have a tattoo and I don't think I'll ever get one. Mostly because I think there would be a lot of pain involved and I hate needles and because I can't image myself as a grandma with an old wrinkly tattoo.

I completely agree, I don't want to be stuck withi a tatto when I'm older and it's also really bad for you...I can't remember how, lol, but my mom said it highers your chance of some kind of deases? skin cancer maybe? man, I'm outta it.

anyways, I don't want one, and I'm never oging to get one...I hate pain, and to me there's not much gain
