i didnt say that one is going to be on me something like that the heart is what stuck out to me. but yes whatever i get is going to be on my lowerback b/c that's where i want it.

oh please get your tat where ever you want!! i never get tired of seeing lower back tattoos everyday whistling.gif

as for the pain: my friends that have gotten theirs done say it feels almost like a bee sting. they also say you will feel pain but its not unbearable.

dont worry about the pain and good luck with the tat !

it hurts. A LOT. scabbage the first couple weeks and soreness for a while after.

before you actually get your tattoo, i'd advise you to have a REALLY good idea about the design you want. after all, it does cost a lot more money to remove a tattoo then to actually put it on. hang a picture of the design you want on your wall for few months and if you get sick of it, then that probably isn't the one you should taint your skin with. i've had a pic of my design for a year and a half now and i still love it, so chances are i'm going to stick with that one.

Of course it hurts. People who said that didn't hurt just wanted to show you that that person is brave when it hurted like pain. If you are good at needles through your skin, I think you can handle it. But yes it hurts. One of my friends yelled during that process.. i was laughing at the same time even though i felt bad.

I wouldn't know. I want to get one, but something that is meaningful to me. Something to do with my family and my heritage, but I'm not sure as to what it'll be yet.

I've heard that it is more irritating than it is painful but I guess it varies from person to person. I plan on getting on on the back of my shoulder of a fairy.

Actually worst case scenario is that the dude (or chick) usues a used needel and she gets AIDS or something..

But thats unlikely..

Even so.. I think Tattoo's are gross.. that thing on your back is going to be a gray blob when your 40.

QUOTE([Mediocre]Artist @ Mar 27 2005, 3:53 PM)
The best tattoos I've see were the "Shut ^" on my aunt's wrist (over the vein me thinks), the sun on one of my teacher's knuckle, and the horoscope sign on the back of my aunt's ear.  There were all small and simple.  I think if I got a tattoo, it would be a broken heart on left wrist, and a full one on my right.  Probably no bigger than half an inch.

Sorry you didn't get your tattoo.  Probably a good call on deciding to wait though.  Especially if you're risking parental hellfire.

Yikes, over the vein? I'm too much of a wimp to ever get one there, lol.
