My name is Cristy without the "h," but most people spell it "Christy" if they don't know me. I can't really blame them though, seeing as that's how it's supposed to be spelled.

^ Your avatar is great! :D

No one really has problems saying my name, at least I don't think they do. The spelling changes alot: Rebeca, Rebbecca, Rebekah but it's Rebecca.

My son's name gets misprounounced a lot though. It's spelled Israel and is supposed to be pronounced Is-RAY-el but gets pronounced Is-REE-el a lot. For some reason it really annoys me. IT's not Isreal it's Israel. Dangit.

It's Rachael.
AAAAAAH!

Okay, I've vented my frustrations on that world. No one, except people on cB and my friends and family, get it right. I always have to say "ael" when ever I give a person my name to write down on something.

ACK.

Yeah dude. I never heard of Jonn(with the double n), that's neat. Instead of spelling it Miriam, they spell it Mariam, or Myriam. XD.gif

Yes they do. They spell my name wrong.. it's Ranniel.. not Raniel or Raneil or Ranneil. And they say it wrong too. It makes me mad, but I think I got used to it already.

People say my name wrong all the time.

There are a million ways to spell and say "Deborah" wrong. I've heard and seen most of them.

Debra
Debora
Debbie (which I dislike by the way)
Debrah
Debroah

Oh, and don't get me started on how to say my name laugh.gif

I don't think anyone's ever spelled or say my name wrong, it's just that sometimes they misread my name and call me Julie instead.

Haha, I just remember that's how Pauline pronounces it. :x I just call you Eve, shoot.

My physics teacher in high school used to pronounce my name Ah-nuh rather than just Ann-uh; I didn't really mind, it was just strange.
