I am a total neat freak about everything, save my apperence. I have never been able to tame my hair so lately I have taken to shaving it off. Although if I could get up in the morning I would probably put more emphasis on the way I look.

I am a writer, as well as a published poet, I am known throughout the campus as someone anyone can talk to.

I have always been extermtly comfortable with who I am, and in particular my "masculinity". I have never been afraid to show my feelings, the other day me my girlfriend and some of our friends wachted that movie, "What dreams may come" with Robin Williams. (Not a great movie) But I acctually cired at the end, and as a result I was poaked fun at by the guys in the group, but my girlfriend and the her two female friends thought I was so sensitive they each had to give me a big hug biggrin.gif

Why do "normal" guys have a problem with emotion anyway? What is wrong with my liking poetry, keeping thinks clean and crying during sad movies? After all I am human not just a man.

Maybe they just can't accept that the world is changing and they have to change with it.

P.S. If your unsure if you fit the discription of Metrosexual don't rely on what it says here, Wacth "Brokeback Mountain" and make up your own mind.

Cheers.

QUOTE(Viggen @ Jun 16 2004, 5:08 PM) *
Me? Metrosexual? Never!

I never iron my shirts, nor have I rub baby oil all over my body, spend a lot on hair care products, place flower vases and stuffed animals all over the house, and have opinions on living room decors and fabric. My big 'ol truck is caked in mud and road debris, drink unlimited pints of beer, eat big slabs of steak smothered in A1 sauce, and watch football.

100% masculine, bitch! None of that weak sissy crap.
wink.gif

Ya sure your a man, only by name. But then most everyone else here does all of those things you mentioned "manly" or otherwise.

Being Metrosexual is about trying new things and opening up doors between the gender and orientation gaps. So being Gay, Stright, Bi, or Metrosexual, is about personal choice and perference of lifestyle. Why would an anti-new age sexist individual, such as your self, would waste time setting up an account on this website. All you want to do is tell us that you disaprove of our choice of life style, so go and join one of those anti-freedom forums.

I will say one last thing be fore I go. Times have changed since the dark ages and soon gender barriers will have vanished entirely, so enjoy your "unlimited beer" and "slabs of steak" while you can becaues "If I ever decided to ditch the bitch and make the switch I'd go for you dear" tongue.gif

In closing,
Get a life, "man". mad.gif

What your saying is that a Metrosexual is somthing or some what similar to a cross dresser but only shows it by spending lots of money on things that are for men?

A lot of boys are saying it COSTS to be metro. That's like saying it costs a lot to be a girl. I'm very girly but it doesn't even cost a lot to be one... maybe you boys just don't know where to get discounts wink.gif .

I'm metrosexual. I think there are different kinds though... Kind of like labels inside of a label. I like to wear tight designer jeans once in a while. I always like to wear slim fit t-shirts. My haircut is usually something original. *shrugs* I don't go into things like expensive clognes and things of that sort. I just go into clothing that looks good, =P.

I guess I should say that I try to be cheap with things as well. If I need some kind of face wash or shampoo/conditioner I just steal it from my mom. =P. I also have two different hair straighteners. One kind of makes it wavy and the other is for really sleek hair. Tee hee hee. Once and a while I'll wear eyeshadow or eyeliner. Only on random important occasions though.

EDIT: and to one of the users above me... Brokeback mountain is a movie about homosexuality and has nothing to do with metrosexuality... So why did you even refer to it?
