Love is..not being able to get that special person out of your head.
Love is thinking about them all day. Love is your stomach doing flips when you think of their name. love is looking at them and knowing your meant for eachother even if they dont know it yet. love is wanting them not because of their looks but because of who they are. love is saying i need you becasue i want you not i want you because i need you. love is liking them over everybody else. and choosing them no matter what. i could go on but i want to leave some for everyone else. |

The couple is fighting and the girl runs out of the house. After realizing that he was being irrational, the guy runs after her and looks for her all night. When he can't find her, he goes home and sees her sitting on the front porch, crying. Then, he goes to her and is all "I'm so sorry..." and she hushes him and says "Love is not having to say you're sorry." The theme of "Love is not having to say you're sorry" comes back when the girl dies (you learn that she dies in the first line of the story so no, I'm not ruining anything) and the guy's father goes to see him. His father apologizes for not supporting them and for not being there for him when he needed him most, but he stops him and tells his father that he didn't need to tell him that he was sorry. It's a touching scene in the book and in the movie... it made me cry  Anyways... for anybody who hasn't read the book "Love Story," by Erich Segal, I'd highly recommend it. The movie is kind of old, but it's worth a watch. |

real, it is not just in novels or the movies it is fact and it is standing here right in front of you so if you just open your eyes oh what a sweet discovery, there is hope and there is joy and there is acceptance so now let out all the light that collects on your plants keep you warm let you smile and i will be there with this pen in my hand to record all the while you'll be laughing so loud that the house would shake with sound and everything will be as new as the day it was found ohhhh, love is real it is not just in long distance commercials or something that you thought you felt back in high school so i will turn black and white, become that horoscope you're reading it predicts that something good is on its way. oh and i'll send you all the world green and blue in a box, through the mail you can open it up hold it right in your hand and be glad that it's there and be glad that you're there now you can feel all the knots in your stomach they start to untie and suddenly it's not so hard to say you're alright ohhhh, love is real it is not just in poetry and stories it is truth and it will follow you everywhere you go from now on so if you just cast off your doubts then your lips would answer for you oh my darling, when you smile,it is like a song and i can hear it now and i can hear it now and i can hear it now and i can hear it now and i can hear it now and i can hear it now and i can hear it now Yes I can... -------- yeah. that says a lot |
