alot of ppl at my skool where them and sum where the pink ones to support the breast cancer thing...sry i don kno the name of the organization..sum also have red ones..idk ppl at my skool have red,black,yellow,pink and all them..the black ones arent for anything its juss a nike baller wristband..well yeah..

Yeap, i think its turning into a fashion trend, thats why i dont wanna wear one. It loses its true meaning when people wear them just because everyone else wears one.

anyone notice a billion ppl wear those yellow livestrong bracelets?
i just ordered one off ebay and im so darn excited!  anywhoos.. all the "cool" kids wear them and so does everyone else. how did they become soooooo popular? its just a yellow rubber wristband with the words "LIVESTRONG" on them maybe because a lot of celebs wear them.. or.. nobody knoooowwss..

This is just like asking "how did Adidas get so popular?" or something like that.
Just because a lot of "kewliez" people started wearing them, so more and more people went out to get a livestrong bracelet. [shrug] |

Bit superficial arent we? The livestrong bracelets are for the livestrong cancer fund, not for popularity. Just because all the celebs and "cool" people wear it, doesn't mean it's for "cool" people. Ordering one from the ebay is just for people who want it because others do, it does nothing whatsoever to the real meaning behind them in the first place.

  ANywho, there are people who wear them to be "cool" and other people who wear them to support the cause. I wear it to support the cause. Only three people in my school has them. |

Yeah i had one like when they first were put out on sale because of the fact that my grandfather died of cancer when i was very young...i hardly knew him...
me and my dad always do stuff that support cancer research and funds that help people with cancer |

They became popular because they're for a good cause.
I wear one cause my grandfather died of cancer. As for the breast cancer wristbands, you can get them at Amazon.com in packs of 10... I believe they're on backorder as well. They were selling them in Target stores, but I'm not sure if they're sold out or not. |

Heh.. you can get them with Build-A-Bear. You get one and the bear gets one as well.
The pink ones are for breast cancer and the silver ones are for AIDS. |

it is becoming a fad..i mean ppl at my school are now taking them if they just find them around..and lijke once a week someone comes to school and sells them just for money... i use to have one before all of the trendy stuff...but it is for a good cause so i guess its ok...
