maybe you shouldn't drive such a gas hogging car. that makes the pollution worse and stuff..

but i do agree that it sucks how much gas is...

although we shouldnt keep depending on oil and gas so much

Blehhh. It's terrible here, there's only a station or two in the entire city that actually has gas. Even then, it's over $4. I miss Gwinnett, there was a station on almost every corner. Here... it's just trees and pastures and tractors and water. Ew.

i miss gwinnett too.

And that's the reason why we couldn't go to Long Beach, to be with my cousins, during my day off. It ruined my day off. stubborn.gif Thanks to Katrina. Let's give Katrina a round of applause, please. _dry.gif The lowest costs about $3.00. The highest cost like $3.92. And we're expecting to hit $4.00 by September 10. mellow.gif

It's getting to be so insane. It doesn't make sense though. We get most of our gas from South American I believe, even though they tell us most of it is from the middle east. Everytime we have a crisis they make the prices higher, but they're just messing with us, unfortunatly.

As weird as this sounds, I actually hope we run out of gas so we can use hydrogen cars. The byproduct of it is water! It's cheaper, and it puts oxygen back into the environment so the snow along-side the highway will not be black anymore! ^_^ Also, global warming will lessen. But, it's only going to get worse before it will get any better. sad.gif

if u think your gas (petrol to us british fo's) is expensive, try buy it here!! its like 98 pence for one litre (idont know how many litres go into a gallon but i think its alot)! not even a gallon. thats nearly $2 for one litre. fact: it can cost $100+ to fill up some cars here.

i actully cant drive yet i still have a couple of years to wait (u must be 18 here if u didnt allready no) and by then who knows how high it owuld be. i hope by then, people would of got so sick of EXTREME petrol prices that some smart ass would of come up with a care that runs of grass or even better AIR! that wouold be the day...

It's our fault for not taking care of the environment and pollution. That's why there was a hurricane in Katrina. I think you all know that already lol.

Anyways, yeah the price went higher here too. But it didn't go way up like yours. Ours is like... 26.42 something like that. But it isn't 35 something.

Anyways my opinion? OF COURSE I HATE IT!!!

so yeah the gallon price is like 2.46 here...

I agree that humans are destroying the environment, but I don't think that's what caused Hurricane Katrina.

^ the swamplands of lousianna have been eroded by the construction of various canals diverting water formt he misssissippi away from them.

this is responsible for stronger storm surge in new orleans.

AH. It is up to $3.00 a gallon here in Colorado..and counting. CRAZY.

Yeah it is. Dude. I pay freaking $60-70 to fill up my tank. I drive a Pathfinder (SUV) and of course, it's a major gas guzzler.

That's not what caused Katrina; that just could have potentially made it worse (although, it wasn't the hurricane itself that caused the destruction anyway).

Gas is back down to $2.67 a gallon... but we don't really get gas here that often. We're lucky if we can find gas at all...

We're not that far from normal anymore, in respect of how much is available. They have it nearly everywhere now, and I think the low price yesterday was $2.79, but the average was $2.89
