I like american eagle..
i think its very "humble" compared to Hollister and Abercrombie which I just feel like they are in your face when you are in that store,, I can't really explain

Big props to abrecrombie and hollister because they have a ton of clothes... but Hollister is really messy when you get in the last room. All the clothes on sale are unfolded and messy and yeah... It bugs me..

Well i work at a&f, but sadly don't own much from there...only what i've recently bought.

My favs are Lilly Pulitzer, Melly M, Vineyard Vines, Ralph Lauren. That's 'preppy'...abercrombie is just...well 'wanna be'

Exactly. On the stores on that list, with the exception of BR, can be seen as preppy.

Preppy to me is:
Polo
Tommy
Brooks Brothers
J. Crew

etc.

banano. and a&f.

banano, because, well.. it's banano. i like it, duno why, i just do. cute stuff.

a&f, despite terrible quality (bought TWO things there that had holes in them.) and weird sizing (i buy a four, and i have to be 5-11 to fit it?) and not ever having my size, (except what i steal off mannequins shifty.gif ) i like the style. There's nothing wrong with it that can't be easily avoided by trying stuff on or returing clothes, or altering. (i'm my own tailor. tailoredtrouble. tailoring trouble ahhah)

anyway. yeah. banano & a&f.

Lol, I probably posted something dumb in my old post. I still shop at American Eagle, though. Same with The Gap. I've been hooked onto Ralph Lauren since my parents started wearing it and buying it more. (It's kinda weird to be wearing a shirt my mom would buy, but whatever..)

I love J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, & Banana Republic...AE, AF, Aeropostale & Hollister aren't really preppy stores...
