ok, first off i like those stores listed
second, just for the record those arent true preppy stores
polo, lilly pulitzer, jcrew, brooks brothers, lacoste...those are real preppy stores

Yeahhh, Lacoste is always the first to come to mind when I think "preppy", it just makes the most sense. Polo, definitely. From that list, I guess it's AE, but I find it weird that the Gap is there.

I love Gap out of the list of stores on the poll. I would neccesarily call it a prep store though. All the 'preps' I know won't step foot in there.

I used to love AE. But then now their fabric/quality sucks and the prices went higher. So if I wanted to pay for something at that price, I now go to Hollister or A&F. I always buy polo shirts at Aeropostale though.

I love Aeropostale, but I think AE and Hollister are most popular among girls our age.

i used to love ae. and bought pretty much ALL of my clothes there. but their size 0 short jeans are still too big on me and i hate ordering online (they have 00). and some of their shirt sizes aren't the same same at all. and the size xs polo is still too big on me.

so now i shop mostly at abercrombie (kids). their size 12 jeans fit perfectly. and the length isn't too long. and the shirts fit waaaaay better. and it's not that much more than expensive than ae.

a&f and hollister are definitely the most popular around here.

you can't fit size 0? it's okay on me. it's a bit too long though. what's your height?

AE is by far the best.
Hollister second. I love looking at Lacoste but i have too little $ to afford it sad.gif

Since I've never been to A&F or Hollister so I'd have to do with american eagle.

I really like GAP, but I don't really classify them under the sterotype that goes for preps.

-shrugs-

I like hollister somewhat, I just think the music is to loud and gives me a headache. I never really liked American Eagle clothing for some reasons.

i think a&f and hollister rule here in jersey...

american eagle is considered like gap and aero and old navy

banana repub is just not the style here.
