Well, I had good memories with Aeropostale. When I went there, everything, absolutely everything, in the store was 50% off. I got a hoodie for 15.00 and a gift set for 7.00.
I had good memories with American Eagle too. I went there and the baby tees were very very inexpensive. I got two shirts. They cost me 7.00 each. Never ever buy anything from AE online. Those shirts cost 7 bucks in the store, and cost 11 bucks in their website. =.=

If you like, "hollister", then you love AF.
Vice versa.
You know why? Cause A and F OWNS HOLLISTER.

Plus, there are more preppy clothing companys then that. Even if they all suck.

You forgot big ones like, Juicy Couture.

Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Hollister is not preppy, that's suburban. Preppy is Ralph Lauren, Lilly, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, and LL. Bean. Preps are confident and unafraid to express their own styles and be daring in their fashions.

Preppies don't:
* Wear tight, skin exposing clothing (ie fitted Abercrombie sexual tshirts with tight flared jeans)
* Limit themselves to mall shopping and chain stores. They gravitate towards long-established classic stores and boutiques unique to quaint New England towns.
* Wear heavy makeup and endless hair products. The phrase "less is more" is a preppy creed.
* Glue purses to their arms, especially when going to school. Lip gloss and if need be, a wallet, are thrown into tote bags along with books.

To change my initial response, I'm actually really fond of American Eagle these days. Still not buying into the whole Abercrombie and Hollister deal, but hey, I'm no longer unwilling to walk into the stores. Aeropostale sucks lots. I recently had the hardest time exchanging a hidious hoodie jacket my second cousin bought for me from there because there was nothing I liked more. Banana Republic has it's moments, but I'm not willing to afford it. I think I mainly shop at Gap and American Eagle these days, even though there are very few teens ever in Gap.
