As a sincere prep, I'm personally offended that anyone would think Hollister or Abercrombie are preppy. In fact, none of those stores are preppy. They are casual.

Truly preppy stores are Polo Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, Lilly Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines, among others.

i wear a little bit of american eagle though. but abercrombie jeans... are awesome!
i think the size range is good. if you're bigger, you should wear something else.

I love Abercrombie & Fitch

and for those who can't afford their cloths at regular price...wait for the season sales for the price to go down laugh.gif

I shop at American Eagle & Gap sometimes but I think the quality at AF is better..

Aero quality Sux IMO...

Hollister - Nice stuff there!! Price are reasonable.. luvin them track jackets. Nice tops.. the perfume smells pretty good.. averagely nice sales rep
Aeropostale - cheapest of them all.. nice stuff but sometimes too much those "monkey" trademark shirts/pjs/accesories.. dont really like their shirts cept the ones with "aeropostale" in it. They have nice fonts to it... i really ilke this store tho
Banana Rep - not so teenage like.. and more expensive
Abercrombie - Sometimes their stuff is average to me.. doenst really match with the price.. nice jeans thou!
AE - this is store is sweeett!! well they got some really nice stuff.. reasonable prices.. the fabric is nice.. nice accesories.. averagely not so nice sales rep tho..
GAP - hmmm.. its very casual. stuff looks pretty average.. i dont really shop at gap.. but they make good jackets lol

I shop more at Aeropostale and AE than the other stores..

i'd say:
1. abercrombie
2. hollister
3. american eagle
4. aeropostale

i always felt banana republic was more geared towards people in their 20s, and i don't feel that gap is very "preppy" at all.
