age difference, just wondering ..
what's the age difference you limit yourself to between you and a person you would go out with?

I had a fling with a guy who was four years older than I am, but that's the biggest difference I've had experience with. My boyfriend is now two years older than me.

i guess I would limit myself to an age difference of 2-3 years, depending who that person is.

Hum, well for me, i'm only 14, 15 in September, but I set my limits for now. They say "You fall in love with a person for who they are,not realizing how old/young they are." That is true, but to keep myself safe, I try to go for the guys only up to the age of 18, or if their only a year older than me then it doesn't really matter much. Otherwise, I'd wait until I was of legal age to date a guy over the age of 18. Basically, because i'm a little young girl. :)

Plus, I think my dad would get a bit too suspicious if he found out I was dating someone who can drive. Hah

You can't keep running from what you're trying to find.

right now, i'd say 2 years. but when you get older, the age gap doesn't really matter as much. when i'm an adult i'd say 6 or 7 years difference is the max

A lot of people say "age is just a number" but my sister dated someone 7 years older than her, and she said age had a lot to do with why they broke up.
Age can play a big part, depending on if they are mature, and stable and stuff.

It depends on how old you are, but at my age group (17-18) I would say 3 or 4 years.

personally, i don't what a person much seperated from me in age, so less than three years generally. and i'd definetly want them to be older. pretty much, i'd date a person 3 years older or one grade less.

I think 3-4 years older would be the max for me. Though, I think it's most awesome to get someone close to the same age as you.

I think two years age difference is okay.

But age isn't a factor in love.
..just in legal matters. _smile.gif

^haha yea,

some states once your over 16 it doesn't matter
and others its 17 or 18..

so if your 15 and dating a guy older than 18
its illegal to have sex with them
because then its considered rape..
and like one person said
it shouldn't be anyones business if you are or not.

Hmm, it really just depends on if the person seems like the one, or if he just seems like the type of guy that you would want your parents to meet/go out with/be with for the rest of your life.
