I enjoy is when conservatives blame September 11th on former president Clinton. As far as I know 0 world trade centers were destroyed during his term. Bush has 2. And the whole "Terrorists determined to attack inside the United States" should have tipped him off. This is all assuming Bush is in charge, actually I think he is more of a mascot. So Bush doesn't suck, but his administrators do.

Actually, Evita Peron Slaly was responsible for World War II. Not Gulf War II.

HAHAHAHAH ( <--- sarcastic laugh)

How's this a debate?

If bashing the president will make you feel that much smarter, then go for it, but at least do it with logic.

I really do not mean to be rude, but saying he sucks without any preamble or proof as to why he sucks do not make much sense to me.

It was kinda RANDOM and had barely anything to do with the topic.
Okay, let's leave then. Get rid of their government and not restore it. Because life will be buttercups and daisies as soon as our attempt to create a government for them stops.

That's exactly what I'm worried about.. but people do make a lot of sense when they say that their civil quarrel doesn't concern us... wacko.gif

I actually don't have much of an opinion of him. But if I did... it would lean more to the dislikes side just because he's opposing gay marriages when it's really none of his business on what gender people marry.

Well, it's a national issue. People do care, especially those gays that need someone to make a decision FOR them.

You don't exactly win if you can't convince anyone of anything...

The only thing anti-Bush people have won is that you guys are more in numbers.

and in this case it is true. the facts are stacked against bush, and all his defenders stand on crumbling ground. even what he has done right(i can't think of any, but you seem to think so) can't measure up to the grievous damage he's done to this country's name and spirit.

Eh, there are other Presidents in history who have bad names, but most of them didn't exactly have this much of a crisis to go through.

I don't blame our predicament fully on Bush. Sure, he does reckless stuff, but I just think that Gore or anyone else couldn't have done any better.

we could atleast have a more eloquent bastard on the podium. not only is his english lesser than that of my friend who moved here from korea a year ago, but his speeches are entirely empty. he definitely fills the ignorant american stereotype, which is sending our country back 50 years.

Well, I can't argue on that because I agree that he could've done better in speech.

But I thought his speeches were pretty well thought out/written (goodness, I know they weren't written by him), it just that his tone of voice do not carry the same sauve and persuasive effects as Clinton's.

I don't think he's stupid either. When you're sitting in that seat, there are just too many choices to make, and no matter which option you'll choose, there will be people who'll dislike you for it. That's a fact.

well, we'd understand that if he hadn't chosen the one option that pissed off the most people. Now we're even worse off than before. we've only fortified terrorist ranks by killing people and making people unhappy by invading their countries. everything has gone wrong, and the bush administration is to blame.

Well actually, when 9/11 happened, I think there were a lot of people who wanted some sort of retribution. We just didn't know what was the course of action that wouldn't piss off so many people until now. Back then going to war made people happy. Now that we've prolong it, people are getting uncomfortable (me included).
