I just got braces 2 months ago... there such a drag
 . last time when i went to have them tightened though, my orthodondist spared me cause one of the brackets broke...Yay!!!! Even though they have only been on 2 months my front teeth are already strait, when i relised that, i almost huged my orthodontist with joy!!!!-donut

I have braces now. I have to have them for 2 years. In order to get braces, my orthodontist told me that I needed 4 teeth to be pulled out. So before I got braces my mouth was in pain after getting 4 teeth pulled out and now they hurt from being tightened. But I guess its worth it.. straighter teeth in 2 more years.

i don't have them, but they're actually optional. my bottom teeth are kinda crooked, but the dentist said it wouldn't pose a big threat.

ugh, yea.
im getting them off late this year though! i got them in 6th grade in february, and now im going into 9th grade. so its almost going to be 3 years. |

I used to have them. Got them off a few years ago. I only had them for around...2-ish years? My teeth weren't too bad.

I have braces. Yes I do. I warn you. Do not eat corn on the cob. The corn juice thing stains your braces. o_O; mine are YELLOW now. From silver to Yellow..

I never needed/got braces but i feel bad for my little sister, lol the denstist says she's definitely gonna need them (i think she's getting them when she turns 10 or 11)

I had braces for two years and my teeth were horrendous before i got them so i really needed it. It hurt so much, eat soup and stuff and after 5 days you'll be fine.
 I also had a pallet expander and it was too wide and it cutt thru my gums it reallyreally hurt.

i had them for 2 yrs in 8th and 9th grade. i thought the most horrible part was getting them off. getting them tightened the first few times def. hurt but after a while it didn't hurt as much.

i hae braces but iget mine off soon :]
the end of freshman year... or the begining of soph. alot of my friends orthos said they were gonna take them off on this day..and then change it to that day.. i hope that doesnt happen to me
