I guess to counter that, people who have helped society could've been aborted if their mothers decided to.

So to present you with the other side of the argument: if unaborted babies can kill, they can also save people or made some wonderful discoveries.

Examples: Albert Einstein, Ghandi, George Washington... scientists who are trying find the cure/treatment for aids, doctors...

Those are unaborted babies who made a difference.

Sorry, Jess, but I'd hate to inform you that one percent of all abortions are from rape. Furthermore, as Jiggapin0 said, it's not the baby's fault...granted, it's not yours (the mother's), either, but still...don't deprive someone of a life like that.

Abortion as I see it is equivalent to refusing food to a starving person who dies as a result. Immoral? Perhaps. Murder? Certainly not. The baby does not have the right to the mother's body, and is only there by her permission.

i'm against it, especially after taht story i read... anyways because its the parents fault they should not be giving life to a baby and then killing it!!! cause they should have used protection or birth control or just NOT do it! it they are NOT READY to face the world with a baby to take care off!!! pains to see baby's that are having a bad childhood. just like these teens that are still in high shcool with babies.. when they can't even support themself.

There are tons of families that don't have a father because they walked out on them...they survive...they cope with it. In fact, they're probably better off because they know how to live without a parent. Some of us rely solely on both parental units. Also, it's not in the stomach...hehe. It's in the uterus.

i don't personally think abortions are morally right, but i don't think they should be illegal. i think the girl should keep her legs closed if she isn't ready to have a baby. and the excuse "well we used a condom, or i was on birth control." doesn't work because the only way those two things work is if you hold them in between your knees. there's also the issue of if a girl is raped. it's really the woman's decision whether she wants the baby or not. she didn't consent to the man entering her body. so why should she carry out the pregnancy. but under other circumstances i'm not very sure. the pregnancy might be unwanted but the sex sure wasn't at the time. i don't think abortions is killing a human being because they haven't actually been born into this world yet. i mean i understand the issue that just because a girl is irresponsible and got herself knocked up she shouldn't kill a baby but in reality it is her choice... it sux but it's true...
