Does this picture really show Black History? I LOVE BEYONCE 2 DEATH but is her being in the middle outshining Martin Luther King really meant to be?

thats a really good debatable question. i remember we had an assembly about black history month on january (our school decided to pretend it was on january so they can celebrate asian/east indian cultures on febuary, lolz...) and they showed destiny's child in the middle...

Uh, i think that's TOTALLY wrong. she shouldn't be in the middle because she haven't went through what african-americans did. that picture should be 'important' people only.

thats sad. those other people actually contributed to the country. no offense to beyonce fans but, she shouldn't have outshined Matin Luther King Jr. .

nah, it's fine here, but yea, Beyonce didn't really contribute to history...music? yea maybe a bit...... but in the whole scheme of things, Martin Luther King's picture shoudl be like ten times the size of hers

yeah. i guess it does represent black history because there are black people from the past all the way to the present. but beyonce sure is big compared to all the others! _unsure.gif

Agreed. I looked at the picture and my first reaction was wtf? The only person's picture I looked at was Beyonce. I think we should remake one. -.-

yeah, that is wrong - in my opinion n.e way. She has not gone through what the others had, she has not influenced today like the others. I think she shouldn't be in the middle.

I dont think she should be in there she really didnt do anything for black history shes just an artist, a good one which I may add but not to be in the line of people that actually did something important in history...
