whenever people knock on the door, i don't get it unless its my parents (and i know this because they shout my name out in chinese). especially when i am alone, i don't care who it is, i just won't open the door because i am scared (even if it's someone i know). especially when its strangers, i get petrified and i wouldn't dare to move. and plus, we don't have those little magnifying glass on our door.

what are you like and do when people knock on your door?

at my house i'm like the official door opener. so whenever someone rings the doorbell i have to figure out if its coming from the front or back, and answer it. my parents get so mad if i dont- even when i'm sick or sumthing grr thats annoying

i look who it is and i'll open it if i know the person/people well enough.

my parents get mad when they see me run to my room when someone is at the door... i have a weird phobia..

If I know the person, yeah....but if its a total stranger, no.

It irks me when I have to get my lazy arse off the computer chair to walk a total of three feet, but still. I'm usually always in bummish clothes and my glasses...and if it's one of those door to door people trying to sell something, I pretend I don't speak English and start speaking French. They just walk away...pretty funny indeed.

I do that same thing! It like gets me nervous and I run to my room. My mom usually gets mad when i run away, but i don't care. We don't have a peep hole, so usually i look through the big window on the front door.

Hmm... I'm glad that I have the magnify glass. My cousin aka my brother, --- he calls us if he can come. So I know that it will be him if he doesn't even say his name heh... I answer it, I'm not afraid.......... well if it it the ex-boyfriend that i HATE! ... i will never open the door haha. what if he rapes me

especially when it sounds like a stranger knocking on the door, when i stand there frozen for a couple of minute they go away, then i peek outside the window to make sure that they are gone.

Well i never get the door. Partially because im lazy, and partially because i know the person at the door is never here to see me. Either my parents would get it, or if they're not home, no one will. Last time someone came to my door was about a week ago, when Jehovas Whitnesses wouldn't leave me alone. They stood outside ringing the doorbell for 20 minutes.

But sometimes, when family comes over unexpendedly and my parents aren't home, i get creeped out. I get really quiet so they don't hear me. I don't have a peephole, so i don't bother looking through the window. They might see me and get mad. Eventually they would assume no one is home. And then i would calm down. Lol im a weirdo .

when i hear the doorbell i go to my brother's room cuz from his window you can see the front door and who's knocking and if it's ppl i don't know and i'm alone i don't open it but if my parents are home then i let them open the door.

i like you. i get freaked out when the door bell rings! i don't know why. i guess because there is someone i don't know standing right outside my house... and when i don't know who it is, i will turn the tv really low and creep to the door so they don't hear me. and then look to see who it is. i know i am a dork but i just get creeped out!

no one really rings the doorbell/knocks. but when someone does, I usually go check to see who it is, and I'll answer it if I know who it is.

i speak thru the door and ask what they want.

I NEVER answer the door. I'm scared of strangers.

Oy, that sucks that you don't have the hole in your door. =\ That's scary.

Anyway, I look through the hole.

I always look through the window to find out who it is. If it's someone I don't know, than I obviously don't open the door to them.

that's exactly what i do too, people tend to knock on my doors during my lunch break (since i eat lunch at home), and i always watch tv as i eat, then in the middle of it someone knocks the door, and i frantically grab the remote and press mute, and then i just sit there frozen and not make any sound until they go away.

I love opening doors.
Even though no one "knocks" on the door, the doorbell.
And I know that no stranger would come, cause we've gotten like, 2 telemarketers in the past 4 years.

And there's like this window thing on my door.. it's kinda big...

When my parents are home, I let them open it.
But if I'm alone, I won't open it unless I'm expecting someone to come.
I would shut off all the t.v.'s and close all the blinds, then I would try and peek out a window or something.

I open the door when it's some relative. If it's someone I don't know, then I just stare at them through the hole thing until they go away. Hahaha.

They don't knock. They always ring the doorbell.
I run up and see who it is. Just maybe I'd get it.

I never answer. Just like I never answer the house phone. It's never for me
