should it be normal for someone to have a relationship in high school? i've been thinking about this and i just thought that it would be a bad idea. i mean, after high school you might not see each other again for a while and this might... disrupt things?. anyway what are your thoughts on this?

\\edit// is it worth it? Is probably a better question.

Yea, it would be normal for highschoolers to have a gf/bf. i don't really get your question. i mean you can still see them unless they go to another school/state it's a real hassale. if you don't really need a gf at the moment try to concentrate on school.

It's always normal for someone to have a gf/bf in high school. Even though some of you may go off to college, there's still a phone to call each other and stuff.. Iono, I'll get back to this.

yeah im in one right now. im currently a junior and my bf is a senior...although its nice now, i kinda regret getting into the relationship cause i know that it wont last. hes going to the military in july...thats only 6 months away. we wont have been going out for a year. to some 6 moths might seem like awhile, but for me it isnt. i duno, i guess you could say high school relationships are kinda pointless, but it at the time it seems ok..until it ends of course _unsure.gif

there were many cases where high school couples got married, well it doesn't matter, people grow from their experiences

relationships you build in high school could last a life time...its all based on whether your ready for that kind of seriousness in a relantionship or you still just want a grl to m/o w/ at the movies...its all a ? of...realtin maturity i guess?

It's normal. It's okay. I mean it would be a great experience to actually date someone during your high school year. I mean I would be okay with that haha. I know some people be separtated after high school graduation, but some get to see each other. You just need to have all the luck you can get it. I really like someone, but I'm afraid that he'll move to different college like out of college. He might even go to Los Angeles, California mellow.gif

nooooo

actually, i forgot they ever were

alex has some older boyfriend whose letter jacket she wears. so steryotypical. no telling about bryce, but he is actually quite hot (and you know how much it pains me to say that. yesterday nicki and i wore the same shirt, by the way. people found it funny. it got old rather quickly)

the middle school cynisism that came from thinking those relationships were pointless as for the most part they didnt do anything at all

or who knows, it could just be my typical bitter singleness as usual

that is just a chance you will have to take. if y'all love each other enough, you will most likely find a way to see each other. wink.gif

the thought that you might not see your significant other after high school shouldn't stop you from having a relationship...besides..you don't exactly know that you will never see them again either... whistling.gif

high school relationships are normal. eh, sure there's that doubt about life after high school, but if you two really care about each other, then there's always the phone and stuff. eh, i'm in a high school relationship, and my boyfriend is a senior, and i'm a junior. and sure, i'm not sure what'll happen when he goes off to college, but hopefully we'll still be able to see each other.

if you think that they're pointless then why do you have one...? huh.gif

i think it's completely normal to have a relationship in high school, if you really love your significant other and have faith in your relationship you shouldn't be worrying about the future
