i don't have a job. if i get a job i want it to relate to my future career so it'll just help me get one step closer to it. like i want to be an elementary school teacher so i would like to get a job at a daycare center or something.

I used to be a bagger at the Commissary. I didn't like it very much. The only upside of it was that I got the money right then and there.

I now work at Domino's Pizza. I take answer phones and take people's orders. I also itemize [put the toppings] the pizzas. I get paid $6.75 an hour, and I like my job because the people are awesome and I sometimes get to bring home free pizza happy.gif .

I don't have a job. But my sister said that in the end of the eighth grade at my school, the school gives you a packet of jobs you could do over the summer before going to high school. I'm not sure if she's absolutely right, but that's what my sister says.

If i had a job, i would choose to work at the forever 21, boba places, or foot locker, somewhere that pays a lot.

Be a web designer. It's really fun.

My dad is a web designer and he usually gets paid $100 or $120 just by making a website for someone hehe.

I don't have a current job right now, but hmm I guess I have a job, but I don't get paid haha. My job is to make layouts and banner for people and avatars and link buttons haha.

But I want to be just like Roxanne aka xquizit when I grew up!!! She's so cool :D

I wanna work in a sushi store or in downtown lol... but i'm so busy that im not even sure i can deal with job, school and training at the same it's so sad. My friend is a web designer for this store he gets like 50% off at the store eveytime he goes shopping there, but it's a girl store so I always bring him along lol. It's cool to be webdesigner when you're good at stuff like that haiz.

i used to work at subway. i worked there for like a month. it was kind of a bad deal. and you people out there making 8 bucks an hour shouldnt be complaining. i was making 6.50 and i thought that was good. for those of you out there interested in going to work for subway (or possibly fast food in general), you have to be really dextrous. and not having sweaty hands is a plus too. before you make the sandwiches, you have to wash your hands. once you do that, you gotta put on those little plastic gloves. now i dont know about you, but after i dry my hands, theyre still not really dry, so putting on those gloves can be an annoying hassle. regarding the dexterity issue, peeling off those little slices of meat can be a little tedious. i think this all boils down to me not being a very fast sandwich artist. right now im persuing a job at a blockbuster near my house. i need to be applying more... really, i need to get a job because my parents laid down the line and said that i cant drive until i get one... that means there havent been many romantic excursions with my girlfriend... thats the main reason i want to get a job, so i can be with her more. and yeah, youre not gonna get paid squat for the work you do starting out. dont look at entry level jobs as get rich quick plans, but as stepping stones into the real work force. theyre more things to look good on your resume than anything else. its hard, but you just gotta be optimistic. i look at it as there is a nearly 100% chance that at some point in my life i will have a steady job. you have to think of yourself as capible of being employed and staying that way for a significant period of time. KEEP YOUR CHIN UP! BE PERSISTANT!

next year and they might consider me for it
since i live very close to it and its my old school
rofl,my dad siad it was easy too since
i would just answer phones, leave messages,
open the door for people, give directions
and i can do my hw ans surf all evening.

My first job was at a movie theatre.... didn't go too well.

If you want to think about a career, think about what you'd have to do to get into it. As in, think of schooling or trade school.
