yes what he said. the wristbands are for supporting cancer. with the money they might be able to find a cure. maybe. so go buy them to show your support!

for a reason the fad of wearing them is fading slowly in my area. not sure about others.

ARG i hate the fake sellers! the arrogance! and the selfishness! grrmama. well i have a real livestrong from build-a-bear. i also have a dan synder bracelet. he was a chicgao wolves hockey player who died at the age 25 in a car crash. the wolves have a foundation for him now, and so its also for a good cause. i'v seen the pink breast cancer ones and the american eagle ones too. i say hey if its for a good cause, then by all means. i hate when ppl complain about it being a "trend". its not, and teenagers for the first time are donating thier own money for a good cause. i say bravo. keep it up.

I got one because I inherited it from my friend, which she bought at a Nike store.

I think there's a 'Made in China' thing in the inside.

I know because I have a fake one and a real one. (The fake one I got for free.)

moved to the lounge.

All of you better know someone with cancer or im coming over there and taking your bracelets! Personally I lie my "Brakes for Brett" one a lot more _smile.gif

If no one contributed because they don't know anyone with cancer... then that would be very cruel and selfish. And not a whole lot of cancer research would be funded. Hm. So you're saying we should let people die because we don't know them?

The real one are not stretchy. The fake ones are stretchy. You can stretch'em without breaking them. I just got a real one today =D at http://www.laf.org <-- sorry if that's advertising. and i got a fake breast cancer one from a friend. and the fake ones dont have "Made in china" inside of them as the real ones do.

i just got one today =D

The real one has made in china. but sometimes the fake ones might even have it, but the rubber isn't as resilient as the real ones.

They're all probably real, it's just that the profits don't go to the Cancer Research Center, so it really depends where you buy it from.

well i didn't know people sold fake ones. i do however, know of someone who bought them in bulk online and then sold them to people for more and kept the extra profit for himself.
