cambodian language, the fun of it

Mulan.we all know mulan in the movie called"Mulan"(lol),now lets see:
Mu-Lán .Mu(moo) in cambodian means move.Lán in cambodian means car,in conclusion,Mu-Lán means move car/move ur car

Michael Jackson.we all know michael jackson is right.i know u do,we all do.
Michael Jáck(jah,the ck is silentish) son/sáng.Michael is not a cambodian word right?we use it as a name then.Jáck mean put or stabb.EX(put):i put the coin in the robot.EX(stabb):i like to stabb my table with a knife.Son/Sáng mean gas like the one u put in ur car(gasoline).in conclusion,we cambodians read it like michael put gas/put the gas!.


pboo-c.u guy dont know pboo-c so ill explain.my cousin told me,if i had an uncle named c,id call him pboo-c.pboo in cambodian means uncle or someone older than u but younger than ur parents.c is just a name or anything(miscalaneous).
can u read it now?pboo-c?if u dont understand this one,pm me,its kinda naughty,sorry if im not supposed to put this one or anything like this one.


me.in cambodian,me means noodle.i asked my parents i wanna eat,they say,"eat me",get it?


cow,cow means the animal that gives us milk(english),in cambodian,it means pants.my parents tell me,"ANTHONY!go where ur cow!"


biye,biye in english is read as bye.but in cambodian,it means rice.my parents in the morning always asks me,did u eat bye yet?



EXTRA(1)

i noticed,there are alot of c's.
see as in u can see stuff,
sea as in the ocean,sí as in yes(spanish),
cee as in eat(cambodian),
and finally(last one i know)c as in the letter c !



in conclusion,there are always sumthing funny about ur language compared to others.got anything funny about ur language compared to another?

the word gay in cantonese is "gay" the same sound, which is why i never say gay in public in cantonese =)

lol... you guys know what SHIVA is? yeah well in korean "shibar" means a bad word... but if korean people pronunce "shiva" they say "shibar" lol i said to my mom.. "mom say Shiva"...and she said "shibar" LOL!!!

I'm Cambodian. ^ Those two are like.. Derrrr.... plus I never heard of a Cambodian guy name "C"... but there's probably one somewhere out there. blink.gif The other ones are semi-funny. I've thought of those before so I guess it's not that funny to me.. lol. But thanks for sharing our language! happy.gif

In peru we have a drink made of purple corn called Chicha. My sister's ex-boyfriend is puerto rican and whenever we'd offer him some he'd crack up cause apparently Chicha means pu**y in puerto rico lol

HAHAHHAA that's funny, I'm part khmer, but have never thought of the language that way! Well....besides the "mee" part. tongue.gif Thats funny, thanks for sharing!

In french, "pomme" means apple. Hahah when the teacher told us the meaning of it.....I burst out laughing. Since "pomme" means fart in cambodian. Wow.....everyone in the class turned around like I was some kid on sugar high. blink.gif
