i don`t see my name as hard (Christina) but like people still pronounce it wrong. like teachers and stuff. because on the attendence list it says price, christin so they assume my name is christin and call me that. haha even after i correct them. and some people call me chrissy or christine but i guess that`s more of a nickname. also some people spell my name cristina or kristina. OH EM GEE ...this one teacher called me michelle though.. like wth??.. is christina and michelle even CLOSE? haah and then another girl called me michelle for the longest time too...

People spell my name S-a-m-i. All. the. time.

I don't understand it. By the rules of grammar and phonics, that would not make "Sammi". That would be Sah-mee.

Some people say dee-an-a instead of di-an-a. And sometimes they spell it Dianna instead of Diana

Ahha, who doesn't? They just assume it's 'Nigga' or 'Na-ga' since they don't know how to pronounce my Viet name, they just have to say 'Na'.

all the time. my full name is aldonille, pronounced the way my username is: alduhkneel. no extra stresses anywhere. People tend to add letters that aren't there or take away letters to make my name sound horrible. :|

Most people can get "La Toya" spelled right but they just can't say it. I don't know why but sometimes teachers whoever thats pronoucing my name for the first time come up with completely diff things like "vittoria". Which is completely different. Sometimes "La Toria". I don't know I just never thought it was that hard . mellow.gif

People ALWAYS spell it "Mellisa". WRONGGGGGGG.

For the record, just so no one here messes it up, it's M-E-L-I-S-S-A.

One L. Two S's.

People sometimes spell name with z`s and u`s. and extra i`s. o_o I dont see how they would misspell Isabella. with Izubella or Izibellu ( My uncle used to spell it that way.)

ah, yes. i hate it.

my last name is tsui. pronouced like..AH CHOOO! <--like when youre sneezing. or chew. like chewing food.

i cringe on the first day of school when all the teachers re trying to get to know names. there has never been a time where a teacher has said my last name correctly.

its either suey or tissue.

ITS CHEW!

It's pretty hard to spell or pronounce Mona wrong. I mean come on, it's only four letters. Not that hard! I think almost everyone spells/proounces it right.

Actually, some people have dared to call me 'Moan'. It's usually a typo, but still... hahaha.

Plus people usually call me Steffie and they spell it Stephie or Stephy or Steph.......AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Aha. I think so. My best from New Mexico can't pronounce Nuclear, but I keep making her say it. xD
And this guy from Alabama doesn't even want to say it O:
