eh. it was ok. overpriced drinks that didn't taste that great. i wouldn't recommend it. plus it has this really glitzy, romantic atmosphere which i pretty much hate.

Mm, thanks for the heads-up. Where do you like to eat during the school year? I mostly go to low-key, casual eateries rather than more upscale, friendly-intimate ones, so I can't recommend places for us to dine at.

So um, yea, I should wander around Fukuoka and name drop? mellow.gif

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind networking with some more people out there.

Is Fukuoka a prefecture of Okinawa, or a place nearby? You could probably reconnect with old Marine comrades, if any of them are still there/will return there like you are.

Lol Brandon. I have a huge network and connection in Japan all over, because I have so many Japanese friends throughout my 4 years at university. Japanese foreign exchange students who go to my college on a 1 year visa, and I became very close friends with them, and then they move back to Japan. They are all so nice, and are willing to let me stay over their homes and even hook me up with jobs if i can't find one in the States.

I have money for that, or for Korean BBQ! Finally got paid yesterday. :D Dim sum is always a relatively cheap but yummy option.

Let's see.. At least three: me, you, Michel, and I'll see if mipadi-Michael would like to come, now that he seems to be settled into his place in Queens. Are you bringing anyone?
