Attagirl. Invisible Monsters was pretty good. All the fashion references made me feel so camp though. They took up about half the book, haha. I'd say start off with Snuff. That should be right down your alley. My favorite is a toss-up between Survivor and Fight Club. I like his older stuff. It's not that the quality is decreasing. He's just going in a more sci-fi direction. Like I said, I prefer his older stuff. ooh i liked snuff. i started off with haunted and even though i liked it, it was a little slow for me. maybe that's because i was distracted when i was reading it, though. invisible monsters and snuff definitely went a lot faster. i'm sort of procrastinating reading fight club since i watched the movie and even though i liked it, i don't feel like reading it. i guess i'll read survivor next. then choke after that. i love palahniuk, but his style stays the same for all of his books and in that sense, i'm getting a little tired of him. i don't like him less, i just need to take a break. |

^ Othello is really really good. Iago is a fascinating character, and I hope you like it!! I would have enjoyed it a lot more if my English teacher didn't butcher it to death though.

How is this book? I swear I've seen about three different people older than 50 reading this book in the same week. |

How is this book? I swear I've seen about three different people older than 50 reading this book in the same week. i have to talk about the first book, lol. i thought the writing style was a bit drab; i didn't fully get into it until it started to pick up towards middle. but, i enjoyed it and you will too if you're into crime/thrillers. the girl who played with fire is slightly more interesting because you learn more about main girl character. |
